Hey, I recall a story about a couple who was so inspired by the movie Rocky - all his hard work and dedication - that they sold their house and put all the money into lottery tickets.
Point being that being happy and inspired is great - but wouldn't it be even greater if it was based in reality?
It is based in reality. Jesus is not a delusion. He was a real historical person and hundreds of people saw Him resurrected from the dead.
Don't forget to ask Him to save you in a few years when you've passed on. Then you'll see.

He may very well have been a real person. Even Chris Hitchens thought so. But the resurrection nonsense was just that and the claim that "people saw him resurrected" is simply made up.
He created man in His own image and likeness.
You are so logically inconsistent it’s pitiful. God is male when it suits your needs, he has no sex when that suits your needs.
In which gospel are there witnesses to the resurrection? My understanding is that they found an empty tomb and he appeared to a number of people.
Maybe if you understood what created in his image means?
It means we were created with the capacity to show Godly qualities to an imperfect decree of course .
We have the ability to love , to administer justice, to show wisdom etc.
why do you think that humans express outrage over the injustice we see happening ? It’s because we were created with with a sense of right and wrong .
Chris Hitchens had a 7th grade knowledge of Christianity. He got demolished by Dr. William Lane Craig in a debate, someone that actually taught theology at a University.
Same with Richard Dawkins. The "New Atheists" don't know much about Christianity. Heck, one could study the writings of Thomas Aquinas for a lifetime. Those guys are amateurs.
Anyways, Jesus's apostles saw Him resurrected and died for that belief. They had 0 reason to make it all up. Further, Jesus's body has never been found.

what other conclusion would one possibly make when the Bible itself identifies God as “He” or “Him”? Why are you fighting that point so hard? Do you want to label God according to your own understanding or the scriptures? I swear some people just argue for the sake of arguing? Apparently you have no belief in the Bible as being inspired.
It’s disappointing isn’t it that someone actually uses the Bible to discuss religion? I realize that book is not being used in most other denominations but still…nothing like some clear logic to make people like you angry .

The challenge for everyone is probably this, you will be shown how you are truly perceived by God, and you will likely be horrified, and you will say straight to Jesus Christ himself, I do not believe you can fix this.

Jehovas Witnesses aren't considered Christians because they reject the Trinity, like Mormons.

I assure you we believe in Christ as the only begotten Son of God. But you’re right don’t believe in the Trinity doctrine. That hardly makes us non Christian.
We follow Jesus’ footsteps to the best of our ability and respect his position as Gods Son and as the Messiah and means of salvation .
Rejecting the Trinity is essentially rejecting Chrostianity. It's the central doctrine.
Mainstream Christian denominations don't consider Jehovas Witnesses to be Christian. Sorry.
Ok… sorry to disappoint you but I’m rather proud of the fact that we are not lumped in with the other in name only Christians. Most other churches teach human philosophy, ignore or water down Gods clear laws on morality , and put their faith in earthly governments or leaders . Since you’re such an expert maybe you could explain why it’s ok for other religion to be involved in politics and support earthly governments. Did your Lord not say to remain neutral in the worlds affairs , to be no part of the world? He stated this himself. Yet most people ignore that and turn their back on Gods Kingdom. The same government that Christ himself preached about while on earth .

If you mean by lack of divinity do I think Christ is God? The answer is no I don’t think he is God and Jesus himself did not claim to be equal to God. In fact he stated the Father was greater than himself .

Yes he did . Pay your taxes and be in subjection to the superior authority, however one would not compromise by following mans commands that violate Gods law.
mans it would not mean supporting an earthly government. What did Jesus do when the people tried to make him King? Did he accept? How about when Satan offered him all the kingdoms of the world? Did Jesus accept ? The answer is no on both counts . He stated his followers would be no part of the world. What is so hard about that statement ?
