CEO JP Morgan on Trump

This shouldn’t surprise anyone, I would guess 85% or more of businesses don’t want another four years. Rarely does politics come up at work but I’d did recently in a large meeting with VP’s and directors and managers and most claimed to have caucused for Nikki or Ronnie with only a handful Trump. But all agreed the future is grim if this admin is reelected and we will have to redo our 3 and 5 year outlooks. Sounds very bleak in the future for employees unless there is a new administration.
I just don’t know how it could be bleaker than this:

So Trump was wrong about Russia, wrong about North Korea, wrong about Nato, wrong about the Election, wrong about Jan 6th, wrong about Senator McCain, wrong about Obama, wrong about tax cuts, wrong on Covid, wrong on immigration reform, wrong on presidential phone calls with Ukraine and Georgia, wrong about the value of his properties, libel against several entities that are receiving large sums of money in lawsuits, wrong about presidential immunity, wrong about storage of classified documents . . .

How much further do we have to go on.

So the solution is to elect a criminal and a rapist.

Not for me of course. I will either glumly vote for Joe again or abstain for only the second time in my voting life. It would help him so much if he had a viable VP. And most claimed to be for Nikki or Ronny but I didn’t really buy it.

I can dumb it down for you. What I said was you are a big loser with no credibility. Your phone screen is covered in a fine layer of dried sperm and tears.
Yet, unlike the esteemed Davos-traveling CEO, he will not be voting for a criminal rapist to lead America.

Which objectively makes JR the better person.

I understood it just fine. You dont have to justify your ball sack licking hero worship to me.

Carry on....

This is why I am worried about the election. The smart MAGAs don’t publicize it. I worry there are lot more out there than we think.

The middle class got the same cut by %, but the majority of the actual dollars go to high earners.

I get it.
No you don't. The lower and middle class got progressively higher cuts as a percentage the lower their income brackets were. Just read the article. It'll take you 3 mins and you'll be educated on the topic.

Yes I do. The middle tax cuts were a bigger % but smaller in dollars.

Its not hard to understand.

He wants the gravy train of crony capitalism to continue and will suck up to Trump to achieve it; meantime poor rubes like Hawkedoff/Biggrey remain duped into thinking Trump gives a shit about them because he feeds their rage boners.

Rinse and repeat. Quite the clown show.
Just like Bernie Sanders and The Squad feeds little flicks and your rage boners. Then you two give it to each other in the ass. If you would listen to Jamie Dimon you would learn something.

I never made that claim.

It is the GOP that pretends to be populist now.

I want the smart, highly-educated, technocratic people making decisions. Not mouth breathing racist rapist criminal conmen like Trump.
Journalist and activists are not highly educated.

DA HITMAN COMIN' THRU WITH DA HITS! BANGIN AGAINST BERNIE AND DA SQUAD!!!!!!!!! TALKING ABOUT ASS POUNDING!!!!! THE TOUGHEST MUTHA ON DA OT BOARD!!!!!!

It's pretty rare you hear an argument saying trump is wrong on policy. For the most part, it's personal attacks and accusations of legal misgivings. His policies are much more difficult to refute than taking him down personally when he makes it so easy.
However, the arguments against him personally are extraordinarily persuasive. He’s a pathological liar. He lied about every last issue. He cannot tell the truth. Even if you agree with every policy he has, how can you vote for a pathological liar?

He cannot tell the truth about the 2020 election. He continually lies about it to this day. How can the American people believe anything he says about anything?

You need to sit down and listen to Jamie Dimon also. He’ll give you a good perspective on life.

Because he’s better than what is in office now.

This is a great example of exactly how brainwashed most of you on the left are on this topic... this lie has been repeated enough that you all just take it as fact now, when it's complete bs.

Income data published by the IRS clearly show that on average all income brackets benefited substantially from the Republicans’ tax reform law, with the biggest beneficiaries being working and middle-income filers, not the top 1 percent, as so many Democrats have argued.

A careful analysis of the IRS tax data, one that includes the effects of tax credits and other reforms to the tax code, shows that filers with an adjusted gross income (AGI) of $15,000 to $50,000 enjoyed an average tax cut of 16 percent to 26 percent in 2018, the first year Republicans’ Tax Cuts and Jobs Act went into effect and the most recent year for which data is available.

Filers who earned $50,000 to $100,000 received a tax break of about 15 percent to 17 percent, and those earning $100,000 to $500,000 in adjusted gross income saw their personal income taxes cut by around 11 percent to 13 percent.

By comparison, no income group with an AGI of at least $500,000 received an average tax cut exceeding 9 percent, and the average tax cut for brackets starting at $1 million was less than 6 percent. (For more detailed data, see my table published here.)

That means most middle-income and working-class earners enjoyed a tax cut that was at least double the size of tax cuts received by households earning $1 million or more.

That’s not persuasive data. Let’s say there are two taxpayers. One makes 100k. One makes 250 million. If you cut taxes on the first 100k, they both get the same benefit. If you cut taxes on the first 100 million, only one gets a benefit. That’s what happened with the Trump cuts.

YOU NEED TO TELL US MORE ABOUT BERNIE AND DA SQUAD!!!!! DA HITMAN SPEAKS AND DA PEOPLE WILL COWER IN FEAR!!!!
There’s no hope for you. You should be in a mental hospital right now. You’ve been brainwashed by Marxist ideology.

So you learned something today then. That's progress. Will you quit repeating the lie now?

It's not a lie. Most of the dollars went to the rich. Ok, some of the poor got a better %. O% of O is still 0.

That so called cut we got...it's less than annual adjustment for FICA...

Quit pretending it was something for the middle class.

The govt will just get it back in the form of lottery tickets lol

🙄

Nice editorial. It's a shame editorials aren't evidence.

Some food for thought:

Pathological liar and rapist criminal.

Which, have you noticed, none of the Trump lovers have even tried to dispute.

They are happy to be voting for a lying raping criminal.

A reminder that the Trump tax cuts (which most economists believe damaged the economy and increased the wealth gap) sunset in 2025...except for corporate profits.

That was the permanent tax cut, and the rest was an easy way to dupe simple-minded Republicans, including many on this message board.

And he is a rapist criminal found guilty of fraud, too.

With all due respect, what policies? That's actually been my biggest problem. He doesn't have any. I'll give you an example.

Immigration - all he talks about is a wall. That won't do much of anything. Dimon actually ended up being more detailed in that two minute clip than Trump ever was. You want to fix immigration? It's easy. Crack down on employers who hire illegal immigrants. Boom. No wall needed.

I watched Dimon and he was not defending MAGA/ism as much as trying to explain to the hysterical MSNBC people what it was that MAGATS liked about the Trump era.
Of course ANY deviation from the ultra work agenda is cause for overreaction this the hysteria.
Dimon won’t vote for Trump. Count on it.
Yea but they would have and will get the exact same policies if they elected Haley or DeSantis. Actually, DeSantis would get way more done than Trump. THAT'S the part I don't get. Now educate me, Goldy!

Yeah trump is right about the issues for rich ****s like this guy... but for the common man? Yeah no he's not right
Ya, securing the border only helps rich white guys. Coming down hard on crime, only affects rich white guys, making NATO members pay the 2% of GDP as they are required to do, only affect rich white guys.... Grow-up nelly02

How does electing a criminal rapist move the needle on "coming down hard on crime?"
