That appears to be the OPPOSITE of "voter disenfranchisement".
Nothing wrong w/ same-day registration; it's quite easy to implement and allow people to cast a provisional ballot on voting day, then have 2-3 weeks to verify their same-day registration and if they fail to do so, those ballots are tossed.

There were things I didn't like about that bill but it was mostly better than what we have now. Plus, to my best recollection, there were no poison pills.

All of the things you listed would be better than the current state of election law, at least in theory.
Im against mail in voting. I know that we have absentee but that requires one to request a ballot and drop it off in many cases. Far different than mailing ballots unsolicited. WAY too ripe for fraud.
