My list consists of guys that are actively wrestling on the senior circuit. If Chitts wanted great training partners all with wildly different wrestling styles he could learn from and tap into, then he missed the mark.

Of course it's a factor, I'll admit, but it's a minor one. He obviously fell in love with the state and wasn't prepared to fully depart.

Made me wonder whether ISU supposedly cancelling the Ferrari visit(s) a few weeks ago was because ISU is now the squeaky clean moral compass in wrestling, or because it was a condition Chittum(s) demanded to go there. Truly wondering, not really trying to be judgemental or a smartass.

Dresser would never approach CC because I don't think KD would stoop that low with him already in the HWC.

So Chittum likely made the first contact. And since ISU probably was a very longshot to ever get a commitment from Angelo, anyway, it was easy for Dresser to promise to not pursue the youngest Ferrari once CC wanted out of IC.
BTW...CC needs one more school involved to tie Greg Kerkvliet.

Lol. Michigan is getting too much credit for refilling 40% of their team with transfers and 3 of them are 1 year stop gaps. Even then DeAugustino and Cannon are fringe AA’s at best. I like Griffith, but I am not sold he is better than a healthy Brands. Davison is still behind Cass and Keuter is far ahead of Jenkins after. They have big holes at 149 and 197 and 184 is an unknown.

Go through that MI lineup again without the angst you now have for Iowa. Swallowing your angry bias, I think even you will have a hard time saying they are ahead of Iowa…

It sucks that he flipped his commitment but I don't really see how it's a bad look. He didn't want to be teammates with a certain guy. Is Iowa just not supposed to recruit people he doesn't want to be teammates with? You can't have recruits dictating what you do with your program.

Even in 2021 I think they were the favorite. They've finished 3rd in the last 13 contested years as often as 1,2 combined . Same with fourth. I think you need to look up some words like bullshit and see what they actually mean .

I have some great friends from Jersey, but I always avoided that kind of crowd when I at Penn State. On a good day that often just obnoxious, but a weird sense of superiority, entitlement, you know who knows what else?

Even though jersey shore seem to be a party to many people, those of us who have been around that stuff can say yeah that's kind of how it is. And like I said, I didn't know these guys too much, so I figure trust the coaches judgment. But as I looked into a more a train wreck is a mild way to describe them.

I’m not sure how much longer tnt are planning on coaching but it felt like from the beginning that everyone knew that recruiting the Ferrari boys was not going to end well for sooooo many reasons! It was not that long ago that we decided having young men of character was very important! I’ve been a season ticket holder for over twenty years and it made me want to puke when we first started recruiting them. The saddest part is that none of them are even coming to Iowa and they are still doing damage to our beloved Hawks just by recruiting them! We need a change!

Not REMOTELY close. Kerk was a top 5 recruit coming off injury and undersized. Cass wasn't ahead of him 5 years of DI wrestling. Once Kerk got healthy and gained some size he was simply a better wrestler.

He’s probably got a better idea of the situation on the ground than we do. It makes little sense to me how he would even consider spending five years surrounded by that family with their history. A lot can happen in 4-5 years.
