Clowns, Miami competing for “worst bowl trophy ever”

Miami needs to let ISU score right now
I think Lou Tepper (Illini) did that back in the day and it was considered the equivalent of incest at the time…I have seen it done a few times of late and the stigma seems to be fading….

I want to say Wisconsin may have done it recently? (They tried to disguise it though)😉

Lost a lot of respect for Cam Ward today. Play the whole game or don't play at all. Would not have had any problem with him opting out all together but if say you are going to play then f*cking play.
I kind of get him pulling himself, until the game was on the line last drive. He should have put himself back in on the last drive. He left the game with a 10 point lead. Could have been a legend and instead sits on the sideline.
Then again you are talking tens of millions of dollars on the line. Seen crazier injuries happen.

That would be 35 year old Mike Golic Jr.
Oops, you are correct. Still a shitty thing to say from a professional commentator that went to Notre Dame. Lol
ND, one of the biggest frauds in CF rankings over the years.
Btw, they aren't winning a NC this year either. Lol

Just got back from the game. Fun atmosphere; surprisingly more Miami fans than they probably have for their own home games. More bowls should embrace and poke fun at the pure corporatism of the bowl season. These games mean nothing in the grand scheme of things so why pretend it’s important? The kids loved it, nice win, on to Nashville. Go Hawks!

He left with a three point lead. His replacement led the team on a scoring drive on its first possession of the second half to make it a 10 point lead.

No idea but considering the contract is now 8 years out it has to be very sizable, he’s not leaving Ames.
Campbell is from Ohio and OSU was his dream job. Never say never. And word is that Ryan Day might be headed back to the NFL in the next year or two. Can't blame him as he probably wants to get away from all those whackos at OSU. I wonder what his buyout is - that will determine a lot

Your apparent "need" to see Campbell move on...is such a good indicator of ISU's growing strength/perception as a football/basketball school. Love it.

That backup averaged 1.9 yards per completion while Ward averaged 10.0 per completion. Very fitting end of the season for that fraud Miami team that the ACC and its officials tried carrying to the CFP.

I have no dog in this fight as I'm a Northwestern grad. I'm just saying what I read on other sites and that an offer from OSU might be awfully tempting for Ohio native Campbell who really think about the offer.

This board always says Campbell isn’t that good until the season is over. Then he’s apparently a candidate for OSU.

I think Mike Vrabel is OSU's top choice but they would probably look at a few ex-OSU players, coaches and Ohio natives.........Maybe Campbell. Luke Fickell, Marcus Freeman. There are a few good ones out there if Ryan day returns to the NFL. The problem with Vrabel is that he absolutely hates kissing 17 to 20 year old kids' butts

Got to love the Pop tart bowl knowing they're are just another bowl. Instead of rolling 2 teams out there and say have a good game. They REALLY lay into we are the Pop tarts bowl. For a short period of time they were talked about as much as the Jan. 1 playoff bowls.

Absolutely he’d take an OSU offer. As would any talented young coach in America.
