I think Lou Tepper (Illini) did that back in the day and it was considered the equivalent of incest at the time…I have seen it done a few times of late and the stigma seems to be fading….Miami needs to let ISU score right now
They have a relatively young team and a coach who has led the program to more success than they have ever experienced before. They have built a solid program in Ames. Why do you think that?
I kind of get him pulling himself, until the game was on the line last drive. He should have put himself back in on the last drive. He left the game with a 10 point lead. Could have been a legend and instead sits on the sideline.Lost a lot of respect for Cam Ward today. Play the whole game or don't play at all. Would not have had any problem with him opting out all together but if say you are going to play then f*cking play.
No idea but considering the contract is now 8 years out it has to be very sizable, he’s not leaving Ames. What’s the buyout?
Oh, you absolutely know that’s coming. 😡Worthless little debbie won, and now the poverty Clowns won.
Watch Iowa get blitzed on Monday by 30.
Sounds like Golic is pretty butt hurt. Shitty thing to say for a 62 year old commentator.
We are living in a glass house. Spot on.Oh, you absolutely know that’s coming. 😡
That would be 35 year old Mike Golic Jr.Sounds like Golic is pretty butt hurt. Shitty thing to say for a 62 year old commentator.
No big name school wants him.No idea but considering the contract is now 8 years out it has to be very sizable, he’s not leaving Ames.
Oops, you are correct. Still a shitty thing to say from a professional commentator that went to Notre Dame. LolThat would be 35 year old Mike Golic Jr.
Because they play in a glorified mid-major conference? Why do you think that?
That was the first thing I thought ngl.Oh, you absolutely know that’s coming. 😡
1892? Tailgated from a horse and buggy?
He left with a three point lead. Then again you are talking tens of millions of dollars on the line. Seen crazier injuries happen.
Campbell is from Ohio and OSU was his dream job. Never say never. And word is that Ryan Day might be headed back to the NFL in the next year or two. Can't blame him as he probably wants to get away from all those whackos at OSU. I wonder what his buyout is - that will determine a lotNo idea but considering the contract is now 8 years out it has to be very sizable, he’s not leaving Ames.
Your apparent "need" to see Campbell move on...is such a good indicator of ISU's growing strength/perception as a football/basketball school. Love it.Campbell is from Ohio and OSU was his dream job. That backup averaged 1.9 yards per completion while Ward averaged 10.0 per completion. Very fitting end of the season for that fraud Miami team that the ACC and its officials tried carrying to the CFP.He left with a three point lead. His replacement led the team on a scoring drive on its first possession of the second half to make it a 10 point lead.
A fun game to watch. Nice win for the Clones. State is setup to be very good for the next few years.
I have no dog in this fight as I'm a Northwestern grad. I'm just saying what I read on other sites and that an offer from OSU might be awfully tempting for Ohio native Campbell who really think about the offer.Your apparent "need" to see Campbell move on...is such a good indicator of ISU's growing strength/perception as a football/basketball school. I think Mike Vrabel is OSU's top choice but they would probably look at a few ex-OSU players, coaches and Ohio natives.........Maybe Campbell. Luke Fickell, Marcus Freeman. There are a few good ones out there if Ryan day returns to the NFL. The problem with Vrabel is that he absolutely hates kissing 17 to 20 year old kids' buttsThis board always says Campbell isn’t that good until the season is over. Then he’s apparently a candidate for OSU.
Don't kid yourself. There are light years between coaching at Iowa State and a perennial top 5 program like OSU which is stocked yearly with 4 and 5 star players and on TV every weekYour apparent "need" to see Campbell move on...is such a good indicator of ISU's growing strength/perception as a football/basketball school. Florida State is not a big name school? National media confirmed they offered him a few years back.No big name school wants him.
Absolutely he’d take an OSU offer. As would any talented young coach in America.I have no dog in this fight as I'm a Northwestern grad. I'm just saying what I read on other sites and that an offer from OSU might be awfully tempting for Ohio native Campbell who really think about the offer.
