COVID vaccines to be banned for all age groups in the US?

0.14% of covid deaths were under the age of 18 while this population accounts for around 20% of the total population.

15.5% of children had a reported reaction to the covid vaccine (this could be fever, arm pain, or other mild reactions)
0.4% of children receiving the covid vaccine had a serious complication such as myocarditis

Don't forget, the whole idea of the covid vaccine was to reduce illness and reduce sick days. It did not actually prevent people from getting covid.
Sigh. What's the rate of myocarditis in the same cohort where COVID itself is concerned?

Does it matter? the covid vaccine does not prevent a person from getting covid nor does it prevent a person from getting covid related mycarditis. The covid vaccine just adds extra risk, but doesn't reduce any of the serious risks. Its a lose lose situation for kids to take the vaccine

So you trust the gov't when they tell you to take it, but don't trust they gov't when they tell you not to take it? How do you make it through your day w/o the gov't telling you what to do...
Do you listen to “the government” or to your physician for your medical advice, chonk?
I listen to my physician.
I still “smoke” cigars…against his advice but I have taken his advice and taken the Covid vaccines and all the boosters.
Should I contact Governor Kim or my Congressman/Senator for their medical advice?

Would depend if having the vaccine reduces the likelihood of severe COVID symptoms in future infections. (like myocarditits)

The argument for the vaccine has always been preventing severe disease.

Trump has had 6 covid shots. tells you what he really thinks about the safety of the vaccine.
If you believe there is any benefit at all with the covid vaccine, Trump is in the demographic where it would be beneficial. He is old, overweight, and add in any other comorbidities he may have. I don't think the covid shot does any good at this point, but Trump forgot to ask me what I think.

How dare you say those things about Trump. Your posse does not believe he’s old or a fatass.

As we learned about RFK, he has his kids fully vaccinated for everything, but tells others they are bad. Guarantee he and trump will have a stash of vaccines for themselves.

I disagree with the idea of a vaccines main purpose being to prevent severe disease. Do you know how many people who got covid really bad and then they say, "wow, imagine how bad it would have been if I didn't have the vaccine". Realistically, if you get bad covid or influenza, the vaccine probably didn't do anything for you.

I've never had the government tell me to take it. But go ahead and spread the maganazi lies.

All the evidence points to this being the main benefit. We've been through this a million time. It's hard to prevent re-infection with upper-respiratory disease via vaccine. (the virus reproduces in areas outside of vital organs) That immunity wanes. However... much more durable is the immunity to severe disease.... the vital organs are much better protected and that's what really matters. If you had a round of vaccine or the virus the odds of your lungs getting trashed (or other severe disease) is much lessened. There was a bunch of research pointing this out.

That's the real value in the vaccine.

But the government did tell people to take it. If they didn’t, they would have their government job taken away. So they were supposed to trust the government then but now they shouldn’t?
BTW I’m so proud you learned a new maga term. Such a big boy

Would appear to be a violation of basic market economics to prevent companies with existing, approved vaccines from being able to sell them.

If you're excited about US companies being prevented from developing new ones, then we can import them at far higher cost from Denmark, etc. And all the US jobs that went to producing them can go away, too.

A democrat who is selfishly only concerned about yourself. You guys think everything is a lie if it doesn't affect you personally. Are you denying that military members were fired for not taking the vaccine?

ha ha bunch of did my own research guys (aka cons) in here. been jabbed 5 or 6 times now with the vax and no problems, same for my family and extended family. still around. gonna go do my own research andddddddddddd the shots work. there ya go
So, in other words, you got a flu shot?

I am well aware of what they claim. Covid is not a novel virus anymore. Everyone has had some exposure to covid at this point. As long as you have an immune system, your body will mount an appropriate immune response to covid.

There is research that shows the vaccine may leave your immune system in a weaker spot than those who didn't get the vaccine.

It doesn't matter what we think though, we should go off what we know. We know children were at a low risk of dying or being hospitalized for covid. Yet the cdc recommended they receive the vaccine anyway. We know that the covid vaccine caused myocarditis in some of these otherwise healthy kids. We know that young healthy adults are at a low risk of hospitalization and death from covid. Yet the cdc recommended they get the vaccine.

At a minimum, the general guidance from the CDC is too broad and the vaccine may be causing harm to people that would have benefited very little from the covid vaccine in the first place. The CDC and the Fauci army have done more harm than they have done good because they have given such poor advice that now most of the world doesn't trust them anymore.

Its possible the vaccine does a great job at protecting a specific population, but I think we need this to be shown in the research rather than just trusting the CDC and their guidance that everyone take it.

Military members have ALWAYS been required to accept various vaccines.

Including an anthrax one for the Desert Storm operation in the 1990s.

You can Google that one if you need a "refresher".

No, there is not.

And later Covid variants have evolved so that previous infections no longer protect you from them.
ONLY updated vaccines will minimize your risks from serious Covid illness or side effects.
