Deportation flights costing ~10k per person

One of my favorite liberalism is listening to them tell us how these people do all the low income jobs out of one side of their mouth while explaining to us the huge tax value of the people doing all the 12 dollar an hour jobs out of the other...

Military was getting paid before Trump. The Air Force is constant flying, even if just training.

Border never should have been so open. Ignoring laws always costs more later.

The solution should have been for military to lock border down super tight and deport any illegal doing crimes. Biden F’d that up and the gate swung hard to where we are today.
~2 million deportations at ~80 per flight is 25,000 flights. You think those 4 planes normally make that many flights per year?
Even if we were to use the entire C-17 fleet that would be 111 flights per plane.

I can’t really comment on the number of flight hours government planes fly in a year and if this will cause a significant bump in cost.

I do know Biden could have closed the border in 2020 and didn’t. It’s one of the reasons the democrats lost numerous elections.

Pretty sure there isn’t going to be a revote.

The longer laws are ignored the more expensive the solution is most of the time.

“It’s too expensive to protect the borders” is a lame ass excuse.

Trump is doing exactly what he said he was going to do. Why that didn’t get 2020 Biden voters to vote again in 2024 is a question to ask them. Seems silly to complain to Trump voters when he is doing exactly what they voted for.

It’s about as silly as yelling at Chiefs fans after the won. They are perfectly happy with the results.

$12 billion in flights. Just the flights.

Good luck. You’re trying to educate people on the concept of “combat readiness” who don’t even have a grasp on the concept of “ life readiness”.

Is this part of combat readiness?

So you agree that the flight cost $10k per immigrant. Thanks,
The military doesn't fly for free, someone pays for that. That someone is us.
But let's say that they fly them back exclusively on C-17s as unlikely as that is. That costs 3150 per immigrant. Multiply that by 2 million for us.
It's a bargain compared to supporting them and all of the legal costs of processing them.

The military flies regardless, the cost doesn't disappear just because they don't move an immigrant.
This is just ancillary benefit.

You just wait. In a few months Trump force one will be refurbished as an immigrant transport craft. It will be charted to ICE for 300k per flight saving everyone money. It will be fine. Daddy Trump will do this out of the goodness of his heart. It won’t be about the cash at all.

Wouldn't it make more sense that when we catch them, we hold them and do a full background/criminal history check, and if they have a clean record with gainful employment history, etc., we simply fine them, give them work visas, etc? A big fine, like $5k they can pay off in installments.

Being here illegal is just a misdemeanor after all, and we'd save a lot of money both in the cost of deportation and to their employers and help prevent more inflation and supply chain issues.

I get that the immigration system is broken.

But damn some of you are heartless mother****ers. I bet you go to church every Sunday though.
I mean, the vast, VAST majority of these people just came here to fill a demand for workers from business owners, after all.

And what are these immigrants doing? Wiping drool and shit off seniors, picking crops, frying food, trimming bushes. You guys want those jobs?

The problem is there is a huge BUSINESS demand for unskilled, low wage workers, and most LEGAL immigration spots go to relatives of current citizens or high skill workers.

So how about you bloodthirsty murderous mfers save the spots on the "pallets" for the Republican Businessmen and Job Creators that currently employ 10m illegals. They all know that Jose isn't here on a Rhodes scholarship.

Doesn’t matter they’ll make their way past the border again. Deporting , deporting, isn’t going to solve this until the job issue is addressed. Don’t care how secure some claim the border will be under Trump. They’ll still find a way past it.
This. If it were nearly impossible to find gainful employment without documentation, there would be very few undocumented workers. Any serious attempts to address this would be large fines that would make the practice of hiring undocumented workers cost-prohibitive. Instead, the GOP is following their time-honored tradition of scapegoating and punching down.
