Depth Chart for Illinois State. Cade QB1. Moulton Top RB. TJ Hall starting at CB. Jacob Gill & Jarriett Buie starting at WR. Three WR sets

Moulton runs hard but in the limited action last season he didn’t really display much elusiveness, not nearly as elusive as Leshun is and certainly not as elusive as Wadley was.
I wonder if this isn't simply a function of Lester wanting a lot more power running in between the tackles and him being okay with sacrificing some big play ability for more consistent positive yardage on each play to minimize the long 3rd down plays that Iowa found itself in the last few years. Too many plays for no or negative yardage to count last year. You don't have to be elusive to grind out yards inside and maybe this plays to Moulton's strengths.

Just find a running back that doesn't break through into the secondary at midfield and get tackled at the 9 yd line...and we end up with a field goal!

That shit gets old.

Based on what KF said today, it looks like most of the true freshmen will end up under the 4 game rule.

Reece Vander Zee will be out there on Saturday vs Illinois State.

Has there been a bunch of Kamari Moulton talk?

I guess I wasn't expecting to see this at all.

Great group of guys he jumped so I take this as hella good news for him and the offense.
He showed some good stuff last year. Still a surprise to see him ahead of our two leading rushers the past two seasons. Of course, the way we use RBs, all three will have plenty of opportunities to make an impact.
