Destin McCauley our one time hoped for Savior at 149 just placed 3rd at the division II Championships that took place here in St. Louis this past week. He wrestles for Nebraska-Kearney.

Terrel Wilbourn of Lindenwood, who beat Brody at the Parisi Open last fall, got 2nd place to Frank Cagnina of Central Missouri, a transfer from Lehigh.

Good to see Cagnina held up for back to back Titles (nephew is a Coach at Central Missouri - think they only had 2 qualifiers).

IIRC Cagnina beat Cooper last year in DII finals. Cagnina is one of many DII and DIII guys that could make some noise on DI level.

Destin must have not improved one bit since high school. He was the best I ever saw in youth wrestling. Never saw him in high school but his record was unbelievable.

Qualifier. Lost to Ramos and Stevens from Michigan.
