Here is the deal, if he had said f#$k the hawks that would have been fine. He didn't think about what he put on social media and how it would be perceived about a 17 year old kid. It is not acceptable, and Campbell is of very high integrity. There is a real chance that Hofher's job is at risk. Those kind of mistakes don't fly with me and I have let the powers that be know my opinion.

So if he had said that to the same people that would have been okay? High class cmc wouldn't allow that either. Not really any spin on this. He screwed the pooch on this one and probably should be unemployed.

Edit: Perhaps this is a Dish Network scheduling error. Dish network's DVR schedule is showing CycloneExpress there, whereas BTN's schedule shows a "Minnesota Football Classic" Iowa/Minnesota game at this time frame (4 PM EST)... http://btn.com/shows/ If you are on Dish, go to your schedule and being amused, and perhaps harass Dish Network customer support for scheduling errors here... I still don't like the way when you schedule many BTN shows in advance, that sometimes they shift wildly to other days at a completely different time, which I have been thinking about harassing them about!

I thought it was just a Dish network scheduling text mistake. I guess it perhaps originated further up the chain if Mediacom also messed up in the same way in putting this same wrong game description over what was actually scheduled, especially when such a game would be on a different network. Sorry to create the controversy. Didn't want to start any divisive argument. Just curious what triggered this weird mistake. I was joking when I speculated whether Iowa State was joining the Big Ten.
