I'm willing to bet he'll end up a Gopher though. Will likely commit tomorrow. If I'm wrong, so be it.
Duggan announcing his commitment in roughly 40 minutes. I dont know what Iowa is going to do when he commits elsewhere. Its so concerning I will probably lose sleep tonight.
Does not seem like we are pursuing him that hard, but I do not know. I hope we are still hot on Hickman.
TCU it is. How will we ever find a suitable replacement for Duggan at QB in 19? At least he cant burn us from Lincoln or Goofer land.
Oh god how will Iowa ever move on??? We might as well just cancel all of our games it’s over.

Funny after multiple Minnesota, Nebraska and fans talking about getting him here and few Iowa and even remember a clone fan or 2 way back thinking had a shot at him and in the end he spurns us all for Big 12 & TCU. Oh well. Be curious how much he ever plays there. If he does hope he lights up isu when they play them.
Would have had a hard time pulling for him at MN, NB, or ISU. Hope he lights it up at TCU (but maybe not so much that we regret not getting him).

You said it right, cocoem!! Duggan's health track record is not a sound one. Personally, I'd prefer our Hawkeye QBs come from areas where they have major league passing attacks - kids from Ohio, California, Texas, Illinois, Indiana, and etc. The experience of playing in and against bigger schools that have faster kids and better passing games help develop the reads and mental clock of a qb better than the 7 on 7 circuits, IMO. Duggan is good but how much talent does he face or work with daily.

He is surely a great kid....we will see won't we. He hasn't performed in a "real" football game at an elite level against decent opposition. Believe what you want but it you are an elite football player (especially at the QB position) you will show out every game. When you are not topping the 100 yard mark in numerous high games in Iowa that is a red flag. 7 on 7 is not real football. TCU signed a 4star Dual threat QB for this next season and also one the season before. Hopefully the young man does well and I am rooting for him because I do have some roots in the TCU University history. Just do not see it with the performances he has put up against very weak competition.
