How long has Iowa had Sports betting and what cities have it? I guess thats not a big deal because if State has it you can just bet online

Sports wagering has been legal for ~18 months. There are two dozen casinos spread spread throughout the state.
On Jan 1 of this year you no longer had to visit a casino to set up an account - you can do it all online, so that aspect has really exploded this year.
I think it was the Spring of ‘19? Maybe? Some of the apps, Draft Kings for example(?), require you to travel to a certain chain of casinos to register.
It was 14-6, I believe that’s the largest margin of victory between the two in college. I agree that big Cass needs to hit a throw on Gable. I don’t think he can hit his snatch single on him. Gable’s to athletic. Hit the throw, pin or back points and hold on like hell when riding. I haven’t seen Gable wrestle a hard seven minutes, if he gets down early he’ll have to.
I’m not saying big Cass isn’t the man, I think he can beat him. I just think this matchup is particularly difficult given the style clash and Gables athletic ability.
If you live in Iowa you can bet anywhere in the state
yup I took osu +30.5 dont see iowa covering that with bull out and possibly losing 3 matches at 149, 165, 184. Also took purdue +38.5 again dont see iowa covering that with bull out, could lose 2 matches at 157 and 165. we needed 3 pins vs illinois just to cover 28.5. Also took osu -5.5 vs purdue, only see purdue winning 2 matches.
But we will see and hopefully will be cashing out Sunday afternoon with some money and a trip to little kids state for the 8 year old!
Same in Jersey and last I heard we do a bigger handle then Vegas now...I think it's because we have New York just across the bridge or tunnel that can go to Meadowlands (Giants Stadium) and bet...New York has not legalized sports betting yet.

Well there can be action, just not on Iowa. To many unknowns for me this year above all others, and the inevitable Cashman for Lee scenarios.
Agreed. With giving 30+ points, so much has to go right for Iowa to cover. I took Purdue and tOSU today. I’m hoping for not much action so they keep putting out these lines for me to make easy money.
I don’t think cass vs gable is a horsepower issue at all. It’s a skill issue. Gable’s footwork is just significantly better

They are probably lucky it got cancelled last year.. IIRC, Iowa and PSU were both plus money.

They probably could have done some interesting lines at Iowa -20 @ -110, -30@+120 or something, but not sure its worth the handicappers time

Man I don’t like any of those lines at all. If I had to take one I guess it would be dake but +125 isn’t great at all.
Stevenson was originally at +1100 and everyone bet so huge they switched it to +500 and kept moving the needle. I should've got in at +1100 dangitt.
I don't see any lines on William Hill. I know that before the NCAA Tournament, they did not have anything. When I contacted them, I was told that their line makers were too busy with the NCAA B-Ball tourney.
They may have given up trying to set lines for wrestling after the first couple lines they posted last year. I know I made some good money off those. Maybe the wrestling community stole their lunch money and said screw it.
The response back from William Hill today was that they have released all of the line that will be released in the State of Iowa.

Dake is the best odds, but none sound like an armature is making the betting lines like it did when the bets first came out. I guess the trick is to place a bet as soon as the odds go up because they change quick.
Right. The betting pool is overwhelmingly American, so the odds on USA wrestlers will only get worse. I’d say the trick is to wait and bet on foreigners.
This is why I don’t play fantasy football. Somebody lights up my Chiefs, I’m supposed to be happy because I have him on my team. Couldn’t bet against Americans or Hawkeyes.
