You are from Colorado? Funny that you have these crazy opinions. Know that ( sorry lost that post ). I listen to 1620 all day. No one listens to 590. Hosts on 1620 do not talk much about Iowa. Next game is the usual . Have not heard many in these parts calling out a win over Hawkeyes. Just some hope.
This may be a bit harsh in hindsight, my best friend is Husker fan and gave me permission to go all out bc he was embarrassed that seabass was a Husker fan after reading one stupid post after another...huskers have seabass we have Stevenpatrick....both are embarrassing to our fan bases......
Being a fan of both teams, I can't help but notice that, after the Minnesota win, there was perhaps one single Husker call out thread in three pages instead of the usual 5 or 6 gloating piles of dung per page. These things go both ways.
I'm having a great time rooting for the Hawks, mostly by avoiding getting into arguments with grating, unpleasant Hawk fans specific to this site. Being a transplant, I can say that there are a lot of people in Lincoln actually rooting for the Hawks to keep the streak going. That my change the day after Thanksgiving, but we'll see. My personal plan is to root for the Huskers unless Iowa is still undefeated or it's a CCG elimination for Iowa and not for the Huskers.

After reading through this thread, I decided on a whim to check out Nebraska's board. As expected, they're now completely fixated on beating an undefeated Iowa team. They think it's the only thing that will make their season worthwhile.

I have had many great interactions with Husker fans, I hate Nebraska but I do respect them. There are just an awful lot of Seabass's out there that make Husker fans out to be inbred morons, as I said my best friend is a Husker fan and is realistic and respectful as I am back to him......any time you come to another teams thread to talk smack (especially when your team is garbage this year) it is just pathetic

Maybe hold that thought on sucking until the head to head match up. Per usual you'll bury your head in the sand if you're wrong.
In all fairness if the situation were reversed we would have a circle around that game too trying to get to 7-5 or whatever.
Shoot man, as much as I would love to beat you guys and win every game on our schedule even if we lose I will tip my cap and move on. If we win one more game the best you can do is match our win total if you win out. Heck even if we win, I will still not be going on Nebraska rivals page to gloat or rub it in. We could very well lose that game, @ Lincoln, against and angry nothing to lose Nebby team, on a short week, and to top it off you have a bye week leading into it. That give you 13 days to get healthy and prepare for what could end up being your 'bowl game' while we have a quick turn-around with saturday game and then play on the next Friday. Moral of the story is no matter the outcome of the game I will not be an embarrassment to my fan base and go to another teams site to gloat or complain....that would be some good advice for you seabass

Completely false. Way less talk of Hawks over there then of Neb over here. Please win the next 4 games against Neb so that the Hawks will be .500 versus Neb since 1999. Then you may start to earn some respect from Neb and national CFB types in the media, since that is obviously what most of you crave.
Lose to a better team? 7-0 vs 3-4...two common opponents Nebby 0-2 Iowa 2-0....no need for time to tell us that fact...you see we post facts on here and then you consider them outrageous only because it is tough for you to hear the truth, Nebby is not very good and have not been nationally relevant in over 15 years...no conference titles, no major bowl victories, heck not even a major bowl invite in that time.....do me a favor, go to my post history and quote an outrageous post that I have made or find a statistic I have posted that is not factual.....
As much as I was hoping for my Huskers to win the division this year...it's foolish to think that Iowa won't win it. I think Nebraska can give them a game, and maybe even win if things go our way...but Iowa is playing good football right now. Looking at the rest of their schedule, I have no idea who is going to beat them. What's the verdict on your running back? Not an injury that's going to keep him out I hope.

You see this is what the majority of Husker fans are like, respectful and reasonable. I also think black friday is going to be a great game and either team can win it, scary to think Neb has bye week before too. Looks like Canzeri is out for a while with high ankle sprain, but we get our original starting RB back after this bye week. Best of luck to you the rest of the way (besides black friday)
I'm just ready for NU and Iowa to be NU and Iowa again. I think both programs are on their way. Our fanbase is divided over the coaching hire, but right now I'm willing to give Riley a shot. It will be interesting to see how his offense will work with a consistent passer under center. I'm hoping that we get to bowl eligibility, but right now I'm just looking for improvements week to week. I'm loving the Iowa-NU rivalry. It feels more like a rivalry in the short time we've been in the B1G than Colorado ever did. Best of luck the rest of the way. Silence the haters.

I honestly don't get the stigma between both fanbases. Guess it's that I'm from eastern Iowa but I just don't care about Nebraska as much as some on here. Omaha is 1. A city in Nebraska and 2. Way closer to Lincoln than Iowa city so why do you think they would have Iowa bias over Nebraska? Also they are having a mediocre season so of course they are going to be bitter at a supposed neighbor 'rival' having success. Let's just move along here Lol. Beating Nebraska isn't considered a great accomplishment since sometime in the last century, last I looked they weren't even .500 for the season.

We crushed Illini like we always do, no surprise there.. By the time we roll into Lincoln we have already won the west. Beating Nebraska is getting to be old hat.
