That video(which i hadnt seen) clearly shows the kid being chased with a circular burning object-being thrown at him. Thats going to get him off. A molotov cocktail is a horrible way to die.
The other shootings are clear self defense, hes kicked in the head, struck with a skateboard in the head(which can kill you with the metal brackets) and the 3rd victim is pointing a pistol at him.
i would imagine illegal gun charges and they will downgrade to lowest form of manslaughter. Given his age and the evidence i dont see him doing much time.
its dumb for him to be there however. The people protecting property need to be in doorways or on rooftops and not out amongst the crowd of rioters and looters.
also the propagandists saying anyone who went to a trump rally or supports "blue lives" is a "white supremacist" are lying sacks of shit not to be taken seriously.
He was being chased and had a molotov cocktail thrown at him, he fired in self defense. He was then being chased and assaulted for that act of self defense when he fired in self defense again.
If you think it is a natural reaction to chase down an armed person who just acted in self defense, you probably need to stay away from these peaceful protest.
The rioters sought the conflict, this kid just prepared better for it. If not for the rioters, none of this happens.

it is hard to tell, it also sounds like there is a second person firing. This kid may not have even fired the shots that killed the molotov thrower and the crowd just went after him.

Yes it is. The guy with the skateboard in that photo is one of the two deceased. It is the same incident.
There is a heightened requirement for use of deadly force and a duty to retreat.
After the Molotov cocktail is thrown, the threat from it is over. You don’t get to kill them Bronx Tale style just because they tried to kill you.

Both sides have legit points here. The guys that were shot in the second instance could say they were trying to step in and apprehend a shooter. The shooter will say he felt his life was in danger from them and the first guy he shot. Both right probably. All lives here either ruined or ended. Everyone needs to take a huge breath a step back from the edge. This is awful.
Last I do not credit the POS Wisc governor. He has done zero to quell this. He practically asked for riots.
Why did the kid go out just wandering around with that gun all alone? No way he should have been mixed in with the rioters by himself with a gun at 17. In with a group of adults defending businesses. Ok with that. This was asking for trouble and I’m afraid he got what he was looking for.
I’m a huge 2A guy. But you also have to be super smart and very restrained and at least in the first instance I don’t think he was restrained enough.
The second time , yeah I think he was totally justified in deadly force but this didn’t have to happen like it did. Just like the original police involved shooting didn’t have to happen if the victim simply would have complied.
Well, looks can be deceiving I guess. I was wrong. Doesn't change the fact that he threw something at him and pursued him until he was point blank on top of him. One of the two were the aggressor and it wasn't Kyle. He was literally running away.

I see (I think) the kid who he shot in the head chasing the arrested kid. It’s also away from the building so we don’t know know if the arrested kid did something first to start the confrontation and we are catching the tail end of it.
There appear to be several witnesses watching so it will be interesting to learn what happened in the 30 seconds or so before the first shots are fired.
Did he? Who knows. What we do know is that he shot and killed 2 people and maimed another. No one else did. And he traveled from another state to do it.

The kid had already shot one guy in the head. The others were trying to stop him from getting away. A skateboard is not that deadly if a weapon against a guy with an AR who has already shown he is willing to use it.
