WV's local economies are going to get hurt the soonest and the hardest. Will Dems correctly point out to them that their own GOP leadership has the power to shut this shit down? But simply refuses to.
Chuck was my favorite player growing up and he seems like an all around good guy now. As far as my politics I have this weird belief that it's better to care about the bulk of US citizens in the US and not just a handful of uber wealthy weirdos. It just feels really right to be in the opposition of the Michael Saylor, Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, and other billionaire weirdos. I'm confident that being in opposition to those guys is the correct path to take.
Has there ever been a scenario where oligarchs of a nation increased their power and control over a nation that it ended up more beneficial to regular assholes? We already won this battle against oligarchs once before, and stuff was really awful for people back then. It was pretty much work for nothing in awful positions until you died in your 30s or 40s. Rich people were completely okay with that model. They didn't have a single care about the atrocious work or living environments of people, and they actively opposed any people that tried to push back against that monstrous system.
