I am guessing Moss is the next success story for Iowa walk-ons that play safety. The kid is a really good athlete and the fact that he is showing out already is encouraging.

I don't mean we necessarily go for it every time. (obviously if it's 3rd and 12 from the 48 we kick it.)

But Stanley can pooch punt just as well as the other two. With him in, teams would be forced to play punt safe...especially with the tight ends we have. We could have a play on deck with the option for him to check out to a quick pooch kick if he didn't like what he saw.

I know...pretty sexy stuff for Kirk. But hey...we ran the Lone Polecat last year. Why not?

This sounds great but on this board will get killed the first time he gets a punt blocked or a muffed punt..

I’m confused, how would he get killed on a muffed punt? Were you thinking more like fumbled snap?
