FBI raiding Mar A Lago??

Looks like Loose Cannon is at it, again...

Cannon may get taken to appeals, again, and given a more serious slap this time...

For all the "Snowden should be put to death due to security breech" types, they do seem to excuse Trumps behavior. I do have a couple in my circle that don't have a legit reason for the difference in logic.

One was doing it because he hates America and wanted to sell us out as a country. The other wanted to impress female journalists in an effort get some coochee. Both should be forced to flee to Russia.

I don't mean from the bench. Just from this case.
Impeachment would not be required to kick her off the case.

Clear partiality to Trump (a pattern of unnecessary delays of simple process elements) would be appealable to remove her and put another judge in place. But that will require time and more than a single example. We have at least 1 or 2 at this point.

Might be worth re-posting that Judge Cannon's husband used to work for a mafia-linked guy with ties to Trump...

Cannon's husband Josh Lorence seems to agree it looks unseemly, since he wiped his LinkedIn in 2022 when Cannon first got a high-profile Trump case. He was a senior exec at Rosatti's BurgerFi, a hamburger businesses oddly with branches in Saudi Arabia.

Soon after the deal with Trump, Rosatti and Staluppi got mixed up in the bloody Colombo civil war that started in 1991 after boss Carmine Persico was jailed. John Rosatti, who supported rival Victor Orena, supposedly ordered a key hit on Persico's guy.

Smartly, Staluppi and Rosatti switched sides halfway through - they picked the winners. Note how they provide cars & helicopters to other mobsters - that was their semi-legit business. Staluppi would fly Trump's friends out to his Atlantic City casinos.

I don’t know if she’s biased, but she was not ready for this type of a trial. I get how they assign cases, but at the very start it was clear she has not worked a case this complex, and covering national security issues. She should have immediately asked to be removed.
Except for a membership in the Federalist Society she wasn’t much of a candidate to be a federal judge. My guess is Trump saw her picture, thought she was doable, and gave the okay to nominate her.

Dismiss her in 6 months. Then takes another 6 months for new judge.
I think she'd swap a case with another judge, and a not so crappy judge with experience in serious cases would be able to pick it up quickly. It's better to roll the dice in the hope that Trump isn't re-elected and tanks the case.
She is in over her head.

Smith- "On Trump's view, criminal immunity would shield not only a President who sold documents that contained classified information to an adversary while President; but also one who designated classified documents 'personal,' took them with him after his Presidency, and then arranged for their sale and delivery after leaving office so long as he initially took the documents while he was President."

Jack Smith would not use the wording of "sale and delivery" of classified documents unless he had Trump cold busted for doing exactly that. This is the second time Smith has used the selling docs example. Smith has already said he knows why Trump took the docs and what he was doing with them. You can take it to the bank that Smith has Trump nailed for "sale and delivery" of classified docs.

Joe, as a former president, Trump has total immunity to destroy evidence, coerce witnesses, and attempt to get your lawyer to hide evidence.

Or, you know, not the FREAKING nominee of the GOP. JFC, remember when people on HORT crapped themselves over the email lady?
All of this I wouldn’t believe possible a decade ago. Like no effing way this could happen. At least a third of the nation dismisses all of it.

Correct. It is not the 'jurisdiction' of a jury to "guess" what is a Presidential Record and what is "personal".

That's completely looney.

Cannon needs to go. Yesterday.
