Federal judge hands Musk’s DOGE a win on data access at 3 agencies

Right, and your fake news refuses to believe real people with years of experience.

Then there’s the pesky thing called the law.

But you and yours believe you’re above the law because your guy told you so v

Who is in the majority in Congress, please look it up. or, the Repubs have a 53-47 majority and the House Repubs have a 1 or 2 seat majority.

The Dems cannot pass a bill by themselves and the Repub bootlickers almost always vote how Dumpster wants. So this is all down to the Repubs.

It is good politics as the minority to try to bring a vote to the floor on a bill to see if some Repubs will vote with them. And the vote could be a shame on you type of vote like voting for more food for poor kids just to see how many Repubs will vote against it.
With the knowledge that they can't pass a bill, then it would be up to the courts.....which currently have sided with DOGE
But, that’s not what you said or argued originally.
Actually, the first point I made was this "At the very least, DOGE is every bit the agency USAID is. I don't understand how people can continue to claim otherwise. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) was created by President John F. Kennedy on November 3, 1961, through Executive Order 10973.
In addition, I have always said it was the courts who have sided with DOGE. Then someone said it was up to Congress to take care of things...so I said then they should try and pass a bill. It may not pass, but that was not my point.

An agency can’t usurp the constitutional and statuary role of Congress. That’s what you don’t seem to get. You “feel” there’s fraud in congressionally-authorized spend, but DOGE isn’t authorized as an agency to do what they’re doing.

I see you’re going to choose to die on this hill so my words are meaningless
I appreciate the honest conversation...truly. My point is that it would take a court to say that they are doing what you pointed out. And, the court has said the opposite at this point. Is that true or not? And, as I understand it, the DOGE team is making recommendations and the President is acting on those...they are not the ones actually stopping any spending.

You're an ignorant moron.

There is “waste” every where in business…I just think this DOGE bullshit is just that…mostly agenda driven bullshit… and nothing that can’t be handled more efficiently on a daily basis…Again… why was there a big deal about about condoms for Arabs when it was a phuquin’ lie from the get-go? Just bullshit to create noise and get everyone up in arms…because we know a couple of things about Trump… he is a lyin’ sumbitch about everything and he loves to make noise… lots of phuquin’ noise.
You might be right Joel. I don't agree at this point, but of course what you say it totally plausable. But, my issue is that the left will be totally silent when they do the same thing with a series of lies to try and turn a narrative. For example, reporting that ICE had stormed Chicago schools in search of illegal aliens, when if fact that was absolutly not true. Or how about telling people that their Food Stamps, ect was being shut off (a complete and utter lie) and then playing the video of a women in the throws of a mental breakdown because of their lies. It goes both ways on this. Now, DOGE did find where $50,000,000 worth of condoms were sent to a GAZA region...just not the one they were originally claiming. They did admit the error....but I have not heard the dems ever appologise for the lies I pointed out.

Well, you'd be wrong. That's a law, not fraud. But you do you and assume what you want. That's par for the course for anti-american principled maga.
Respectfully disagree. I would like my Congress people to know what is in EVERY bill and make sure the money that is spent is spent wisely. You can't honestly believe that is happening. It is very scary how many libs are against more oversite....

Yes, in one case. Which is at it should work. That doesn't dismiss the ignorance you once again demonstrated.
What ignorance? My main points have always stayed on track. It is you and others who have thrown out that they are violating the constitution...even after knowing the courts have ruled in DOGE's favor.

DOGE has zero constitutional authority to over-ride Congress on spending.

None.

Already posted the article from the Reagan WH counsel who outlined that for you.
And they are not over-riding congress on spending. They are making recommendations to the President as they were instructed to do.

They LIED on that one.
Just like they are LYING about all the rest of it.
They were wrong on the GAZA that it went to and they admitted as such. Now, can you say the same about the lies the Dems/Left have said in the past few weeks? Not a peep about those out and out lies that actually affected real Americans......

Congress funds things they shouldn’t fund all the time. It’s still their job to fix it. For example, we could start will military spending.
Agree. So why fight so hard when the new administration is trying to identify all of that? And, I believe they are going to go after military spending as well.

Exactly. They refuse to admit that Biden went against the courts ALL the time and was proud to say he was doing it.

I don’t subscribe to your fake news.

So you believe Elan hasn’t had a more thorough background (owning Spacex) than the typical social security employee? Do tell…
Musk has had a security clearance for years. In fact, Biden kept his security clearance in place.

I replied to someone else who claimed as such....can you not read? That was not my claim. LOL!

Now, I used to reply to personal attacks like the ones you throw out with ones of my own. Those days are over for me. Maybe it is because I am excited for the things I see that are happening that are positive for this country. Trump had a list of things he was going to do if elected.....it was all he talked about. He is doing exactly what he said he was going to do. I am sorry that does not fit what you want for America.

What is notable is that Congress could take a few quick votes and clear a few things up. It’s almost as if some republicans do not want to be tagged with the responsibility for opening the books and might want an escape hatch.

Correct.

But we're supposed to ignore all the unconstitutional stuff, and nothing else matters until there are actual concentration camps gassing people.
I knew you were full of hot air, I had no idea you could fill a room. You're even more impressive than I've given you credit for.

A lot of the “headlines” will turn out to Bev bullshit and lies… how in the hell can a kid walk into someone’s books and declare billions of $$$ of waste after looking at the books for a couple of days? There is no reputable accountant/biokkeeper/auditor that works that way…only those folks with an agenda. This, like everything Trump is nothing more than theatrics and diversion. Trump will make up some numbers to ram through a tax cut that will greatly serve his billionaire friends and cohearts. He will phuque every American he has to and every American ally he can to accomplish his ends.
Awfully nice of you to think Trump has "friends" Sure a long time ago everybody seemed to love the guy and he was pretty much everywhere with everyone... but now you think he has friends? LOL.

And whose fault is that Hawk? This “USAid” fund is no secret department ..it is funded by Congress and can be audited at the request of any one member of Congress…Congress is notorious for failure of oversight….renember tge mortgage/insurance collapse during Junior’s presidency? Lack of congressional oversight….
The border /immigration “crisis” of the past 20 years?? Lack of Congress oversight/action…

The fact that Biden dedcided not to enforce immigration laws has nothing to do with Congress.

Yeah, true, but it’s now established in law in 1998.

USAID was created via Congress's Foreign Assistance Act in 1961. That law mandated for a government agency to be set up and tasked with administering overseas spending.

Then-President John F Kennedy then created USAID via executive order. The agency's status as an executive agency was enshrined by US law in 1998.

An entity like DOGE is necessary because Congress simply cannot be trusted to out itself on all of the very stupid, wasteful, and sometimes fraudulent spending choices that it has made over the years, and continues to make...

Federal Budget = Liquor Cabinet
Congress = Teenage Kids
DOGE = Mom & Dad
