So then, DOGE could exist just as USAID did between the time Kennedy created it, and in 1998....is that not correct? Who is to say that at some point this year DOGE is not enshrined as an Executive agency sometime yet this year or next?
I also do not know of any reporting in which Trump has ever said he wanted to "End USAID", only that some of the funding they have engaged in was Waste and fraud.

Trump ordered USAID shutdown, the name was taken off the building, most all employees from the agency are not working there anymore, so I disagee that Trump didnt say he wanted to end USAID. It might be that usaid was a butthurt to Elon in S Africa and Elon put the idea of crushing usaid in Trump's head. But that is really more worrying that trump is swayed by musk on this path.

I like how he thinks the IRS doesn’t already screw people over. I’ve shared my story before but the IRS cost my wife and I time and money. Someone used my wife’s SS# and it was easier to make our lives a living hell for a few years rather than figuring out what really happened. Once we got all of the information for them including the person that committed fraud, they finally left us alone but didn’t go after the true criminal. Sounds like an outstanding organization, we wouldn’t want someone ever checking in on them.
