Fire Fran

This is definitely the time to move on. Homers gonna recite their favorite narratives: brought us back from the dead, does it the right way etc. I think all they want is someone who isn’t Lickliter or Alford. BTW, Alford won 2 B1g tournaments and you all couldn’t wait for him to go. What’s the difference in your opinion?

So hard to take. 12 long years under Fran and this program just can't get out of its own way. Absolutely no excuse about any bad draw or poor location or the usual sh*t Iowa fans use. We just plain suck when the lights are brightest.

I posted several weeks ago when someone was boasting about Iowa's great metrics, responding that there is no metric for the tendency of an entire team curling up into the fetal position when it matters most. I thought the BTT showed that we were past this, but obviously not. It is alive and well...

I'm not going to say fire Fran, but he can move on as far as I'm concerned. Iowa's performance in the last two tournaments has been bullshit. Providence will roll these guys by 25. Winning the conference tournament means nothing. This is the weekend that's important.
Yeah, I was a little embarrassed for Keegan that he's so clueless about Iowa bball history that he kept saying they were rewriting it last weekend. No, you are just repeating the same shit that happened under Alford. Iowa actually has had some real success these kids could only dream of, kind of sad he didn't know that. Fran seems to only focus on Iowa bball history the few years before he got there

Mind boggling. 12 years of failure and its not the multi million dollar a year head coaches failure. It's the 21 year old players faults.
Wth??

Ughhhh, it's all on the coach. He makes millions a year to have them ready. This isn't one year of NCAA tourney failure. This is 12.
I was a college basketball player, albeit not on a D1 team. Game planning is one thing but it is never the coach's responsibility to get players emotionally ready and fired up. If players are flat it's on them.

Fran didn't miss any! But if you think that team looked ready to play you've already had too much green beer.
I said on another reply it is never the coach's responsibility to have players ready to play. That is on the players. We had the same shots we usually get and couldn't get them down.

I see the Spiders are giving Providence all they can handle today

Good team Richmond.
