Well that was very kind of you to provide the link where I am clearly discussing Trumps involvement.

Your boner has never been about this asshats it has been about Trump. As I said previously, if they had ahit on Trump that would be the discussion.

Here's an answer to your question "where were the armed people?"

Rhosed.png

Here's the Cambridge definition.

an organized attempt by a group of people to defeat their government and take control of their country, usually by violence

Key phrase here is "take control of their country". I don't see how that even applies here. There was literally no avenue or path for them to do so.

They tried to stop the certification of the vote.....they then left. Capital police let them walk the F out with no arrests. I'd think folks set on insurrection would have stuck around....maybe bring some fire arms with them?

Just not seeing the "insurrection"....

What they did by breaking in, attacking capital police and holding up certification was bad enough and they have to be held to account and arrests have been made.

I know. I just can't thank you enough for keeping us informed. Your time is well spent.

So to clarify. I may have you confused with another poster. You believe that this was indeed a coup and that Trump led it?
I believe it was an organized event lead by these butt****s and that even though he enjoyed it on a perverted level Trump did not orgainize it or lead said coup.

You guys are not in here to jerk each other off over this butt****. Your energy for the last year has been getting Trump, shoot the shot.

What will you say when charges start rolling in against congress members?

Not really accurate. It's about making sure this doesn't happen again, finding & convicting the guilty.

Most disappointed these losers stayed at the Comfort Inn in Ballston. That place is a shit hole. There is a renovated Westin right down the street. Have some class.
They spent all their money on guns and ammo. And I'm not making a joke or using hyperbole. If you read the indictment, you will see that they were stockpiling tens of thousands of dollars of guns and bullets ON THEIR WAY to D.C. They bought weapons in like six different states, then stashed them at locations surrounding the capital for use if needed.

It started with the peons....

...who turned over their marching orders from guys like these charged today...

...who will turn over their marching orders from aides and politicians....

...who will turn over their marching orders from Trump.

It takes time. We are only just beginning step 2.

Well as torbee said. They spent all their money on guns and ammo. Couldn't afford anything nice.

1/6 should have been the easiest thing to condemn. So easy that it really should have been a uniting event, despite all of the political division, we could at least agree that it was horrible.

I realize the "receipt" posts of our right winger posters is amusing, but I suspect it's more likely that they don't actually sympathize with the 1/6ers, it's more that they hate that the messenger/attackers are the left/libs/socialists, etc. A natural defense mechanism kicks in.

We'd probably get right wingers minimizing slavery, genocide, pandemics, etc., if it was the left that was condemning them. Hatred is the more powerful reaction.

It's pretty hard to believe that this guy and his organization did this all by themselves. They seemed to know the exact vulnerabilities of the capitol, which doors to access, and how to find the offices they sought. There are videos of them knowing the exact garage doors to penetrate, the exact hallways that lead to congress members' offices, and the exact doors that lead into the election certification chamber itself.

For something that was supposedly done all spur of the moment, there was an awful lot of precision behind it.
