This is EXACTLY what I'd stated was the issue with the Georgia "election fraud bill" and many others: it EXPLICITLY gives state legislators in those states the ability to override the popular vote of the people and "elect whomever they want".
Which means, unless those laws are overturned/eliminated, we still have a "coup in progress" in America...

Trump may have greenlighted his hanging, bringing on a lot of sympathy for Pence, but he needs to be charged too. Failure of a coup doesn't mean he didn't help try. And he's admitted as much.

Grassley actually stated that he would be counting the electoral votes, not Mike Pence.

LOL - 15 states and DC have entered into a pact that would give their electoral votes to the winner of the popular vote. This will have no effect unless enough states join to produce more than 270 electoral votes. It's been around for many years and out in the open. If it becomes viable it will be litigated to determine if it's constitutional. All above board unlike the illegal activities we are seeing to overturn the 2020 election.
