Most true libertarians are beyond the far right-wing on the political spectrum. The spectrum is not a straight line, but rather a circle. True libertarians actually have some things in common with way far left anarchists.

I actually support some gun control measures. Probably not as many as you prefer, but I am in favor of some.
That is for the homo stuff and trans kids. They want to intimidate librarians and anyone who treats trans kids with dignity.
Creating fear and intimidation. They can arrest a librarian, and even though nothing will stick the effect will quickly be felt. Who is going to stand up? Trump’s DoJ? Eventually a judge would pitch the charge, but the goal of creating fear will hav been met.
I’m white and middle class so I’ll be okay. I’ll do what I can for the targets of the authoritarian movement. Eventually they will come for you and I. That’s what happens in these movements. Purity tests.
