IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Last week, Coach Fran McCaffery, his wife Margaret, and many members of the Iowa Hawkeye men’s basketball team visited the Iowa City Hope Lodge as part of the ‘Coaches vs. Cancer’ initiative.

The Hope Lodge is a community where cancer patients and their caregivers can live cost-free while receiving cancer treatment.

McCaffery is an ambassador for the program. He and the team served dinner and met with patients in hopes of bringing joy to those staying at the lodge.
