I want to put this to a poll, and honestly, it is probably bad form. I am guessing the mods are going to be thinking things like "this effing guy" or "what a joker," but I am going to do it anyway.

@strummingram is a thoughtful poster that had been posting on HORT for a long while. He has even posted video of him kicking ass on guitars he modded, and done voice audio in that one weird ass thread. #FreeStrum

@TomKakert @Blair Sanderson @CJBauer @Mike Zierath (I just invoked a lot of mods so don't post nudes in this thread)

I don't know what the dude did. Assuming he did sowmthing dumb and not somwthing terrible I think all Bans should be a timeout not permanent. I am also of the belief porn should just be a stern talking to, kinda like a yellow card, but Mike disagrees.

I am guessing he got on the wrong side of a political argument and someone ratted on him.

Impossible to cast a vote without knowing what the offense was. This place is pretty depraved these days, even though 95% is done in jest. He must have done something pretty bad.

I went to wellness check him at UNC Rivals he said HROT shows “banned for breaking the rules.” Back around that time he was taking a COVID fatigued persons positions on some COVID stuff I believe. Even my boy @McLovin32 slapped him down a few times. I remember that because I like both of the posters so pretty much backed out of the thread as to not watch my parents fight (figuratively.)

He seemed pretty rounded to me so I would be shocked if he did something egregious. I hate that I trap all of this shit in my memory.

I can’t imagine someone getting banned for taking a position on COVID protocols.

If I never have to hear a story of an old person telling me how they got scammed again I will be fine. The same story over and over. Must have been nice to move through that much life blindly trusting people.

I voted yes however if he did something that is universally viewed as rotten or evil then I would change my vote.

It’s good to self evaluate posts too. A while back I was a grade A db to a poster. I looked again and realized that I was in the wrong.

Since then I’ve tried to be better. I am glad I wasn’t banned. Who here hasn’t gone perhaps a bit over the line at least once? Probably Lute and a few others but we all could use a ‘do over’ assuming growth occurs.

I know I have. The only person that never really did was Naturalmwa, but that guy was just next level.

Page doesn’t pull up for me. But yeah, it must have gotten very personal. I 99% can avoid that and try to, but it can happen. What there isn’t a place for is doxing and such. Not saying that happened but I personally have a lot of leeway for posters, and it seems the mods do too. Curious to see what the actual offense was.

It could also be that Yahoo! executives saw his pro-privacy stances and they make money on selling user data so the had the mods here ban him. This goes deep.
