Frustrated thoughts

I don't think Russ was a dirty player. Sure he was a "banger" on the post, but I really don't recall anything he did being dirty, or even Woodbury-like. BTW I don't think Woodbury was purposely poking eyes--I just think he was clumsy/gangly enough that he did it by accident.
Maybe not purposely but no accident when his hands were in their faces.

Just never got why he was out at the free throw line extended on a 1, 2 or 3 while his man was heading for the rim for another dunk.

Theres no reason Rebraca and Patrick can't rebound.

Rebraca is 6,9 230 and decently athletic. Pat is tall and can jump very well.

Skinny guys can rebound if they want to. Its not like Joe Weiskamp, Aaron White or Ryan Bowen weren't skinny.

I don't expect Pat to be a great rebounder but he's not even trying a lot of the time.
Rebraca doesn’t have the arm length and athleticism those guys did. Patrick does, but he’s still too weak and gets shoved around. Maybe in another year.

-Bohannon gives us very little on both ends of the court and lately can't even make FTs at the expected clip

-Connor, much of the same. A little better on D but brings nothing on the O end and can't make FTs either

-Patrick has upside with his length, but he needs to get tougher on the D end and learn to body up people for rebound position.

-Rebraca is efficient on the O end but he's not a threat from anywhere outside of 6 feet. On D he's not a rim protector to shut down penetration. We desperately need that.

-Touissaint, Kris, Tony and Aron should all be getting more time. I'm open to seeing more minutes from both Peyton, Josh & Riley as well.

The entire team as a whole doesn't make rebounding a priority. Our shooters don't even follow their shots, we seem overly concerned with allowing teams to run out on us after a miss. We need a change in attitude and priorities. When we shoot poorly we are sunk because O rebounds never happen and we allow the opposing team to crash the boards with impunity and little to no resistance on our part. It's frustrating.
This as a whole is not tough. Remember Ed Horton and Reggie Evan's? They weren't the tallest but they wanted the rebound and went and got it.

Also, I think Barkley had some comments about rebounding. He was 6'6' and was a top rebounder. He also knew where the ball was coming off the rim and could JUMP. Some things you can't coach.

and even better, I believe Barkley is actually closer to 6-4
