133-Iowa is going after the Raney brothers and I would think one would take over after Drake if we land them. Back up plan Petersen?

141-same as 141, back up plan Otto Black and Rhodes. Who starts next year? We really need to land the Raney Bros

149-BO/Estrada. Who starts next year? I would think KV, Rathjen, Estrada will all be going for this spot.

157-Estrada/BO. Who starts next year. VV, will Block bulk up here or try for 149?

165-Who takes over after Caliendo? We don’t have anyone on the roster. Most think Miller will follow his brother, but that’s a two year hole. Plan?

174-Gabe
184-Ferrari

197-Ludington, but I think he will need a RS, so who starts next year?

285- BK, looks like we are going after Mocco, who will be the starter while BK is in football. Marty?

It’s a good lineup, problem is a see a few holes. PSU is 10 deep again next year and so will we if we want to compete with them.

Van Ness and Mesenbrink still have two more years, so they will still be there. Ryder just beat Arnold. Duke is better than Bo. Ferrari has to be careful to suppress his cluster B genes that are lurking just beneath the surface. Lilledahl will wipe the mat with Deluca. If not him, then Desmond, who beat Deluca last year. With Ono, if you're going to take the liberty to put 4 guys in your lineup who aren't committed in any way to Iowa (including one currently actively ON the PSU roster...), then I get at least one pipe dream. We don’t know what Ono is at 57, we know what he is a 61. Vito at 57 was nothing like Vito at 61. Ono may win the exhibition at 59.5 but I’d still like to see how Ono is down at 57 before I say he’s ahead of Spencer.

The only way I’m my opinion this would ever b entertained is if he only had one year left and a team was in serious contention for a title. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze with the optics to recruits and even the slightest possibility that he wrecks the culture your trying to build in a program.

Look, I am not disagreeing with you and We have beaten this dead horse to a pulp!!! I said very clearly WAY before any of the real crap took place. I do NOT like his antics!!! I do NOT like any showboating, dancing etc..... I also talked about how I would do it IF I was to bring him in.

I am a HUGE supporter of TnT, but I have said, I think they screwed up that first run!!! Why he was wrestling in the Soldier Salute when he was clearly out of shape. Then having him wrestle his teammate??? It was a disaster waiting to happen an that is NOT to defend his actions!!!!

What I am saying is a very strict set of rules would be in place and so much as a slight wrong doing would have him gone!!! All I am saying is you have to have a plan to get 10 HAMMERS on the mat!!! AJ fits the HAMMER bill, not sure what other options IOWA has right now?

I would like Iowa to land one more high end recruit from Pennsylvania (In addition to Bo). Then I could say there are more Pennsylvania natives the Iowa lineup than the following projected 2026 Penn State lineup. Hopefully Iowa will also have even more Iowa natives in their lineup.

Of course Penn State fans will continue to label Iowa a mercenary program and say Penn State wrestlers are in no way motivated by $. Wrestlers from around the country are coming to Wyoming Seminary / Happy Valley to be closer to Jesus. I happen to believe Jesus is just as close to Iowa City as University Park.
