If Luka’s back we could take him in 21 if that’s what he’d be more comfortable with. I’d prefer he have a redshirt year working against Luka, but you never know what a kid wants to do.
Everything I have seen about him says he is in the 2021 class. Not sure where the 2020 in the OP came from.

It’s been mentioned in numerous articles/interviews that he has the option of being in the 2020 class. See the recent video interview above.

I honestly don't think it says anything about Nunge's status. Nunge's status is all about his being healthy and finally playing in the role that best suits him...which is probably a stretch 4 or time in the post. Coming out of the last off season Fran said he was the second best player on the team and had him starting....some people will say, "well he didn't play that well at the start of this year." He HADN'T played in a game in an entire year....the kid is big and talented and just needs to get a chance to find his groove playing the position that best suits him. Confidence and comfort level for a player is a big big deal and Nunge hasn't had time to find that yet.

This kid could play along side or behind Jack for what, a year before Jack graduates?

I hope you are right about Nunge. I don't share the up side. I see another Kyle Meyer who is out of his element in the B1G. A guy his size who wants to live on the perimeter doesn't do much for me. He is not going to be able to stay in front of his guy defensively and has yet to show the ability to play tough inside. Granted, he did not get much of an opportunity last year, but his game was almost exclusively perimeter oriented with what we did see.

You also said that they have been good before. That's what I replied to.

He's not going to turn Iona into Louisville. They will be lucky to get past the first round of the NCAAs.
If my choice as a coach was him or Fran I'd take him everytime, and that's nothing against Fran.

Face it, he's been a more successful coach than Fran NCAA issues or not.

Isn't Iona an Adidas school like Louisville? And who would be surprised if suddenly a lot of 5* players are "persuaded" to sign on there? I mean, how could they possibly ignore the siren's call to play in the MAAC?

Well hopefully your parents would help you understand that being a member of a program with a known dirty/corrupt/immoral coach could undermine the credibility of your degree and maybe even your character. That if you have the talent and the work ethic necessary your chances of a pro career are about the same anywhere you go.

Are you serious? Good Lord.
