Gotta feel bad for Iowa State today & for their future

You book your final four tickets and trip yet? The clowns will be watching. Owned again by another Big Ten team.

Maybe isu can convince the tourney committee to keep isu way from Big Ten teams and UAB. Let us know how well that works out for you.
Back to your cage herky

They will get better with experience and time, what is so hard to follow here?

Only isu's players get better with more experience. Txowan is sure of it. Jordan will never come close to Monte Morris's level of production despite what stats exist from both of their freshmen years.

Admitting otherwise would take away one of their precious delusions.

The same was said about Gessel, so I have heard it all before. This has been a bit of a broken record during the Fran years, as he has failed to bring in top point guard talent. Develope one and we can talk, otherwise you are fighting with an empty gun.

Rules don't change for experience of the player. I know there are young guys on the team and they were inconsistent.

Jordan wasn't, he far outpaced Monte's so called awesome output is freshman year despite playing in 3 fewer games. But then again clown fans insist we ignore that part.

You did, Mike had more production than god himself Monte? Not according to the stats anyway. Jordan set a record for a combo of points and assists. Way more than god himself Monte had in his freshman year. More than 100 points and more more than 30+ assists. All despite playing in 3 fewer games.

But do tell us how it really is.

Jordan can actually shoot 3's and make ft's. Sky is the limit with this group.

You love to skew the stats, don't you? Morris played 60 minutes less than jbo did. Morris was not the primary ball handler his freshman year as Kane was. Morris had 31 less assists than jbo, AND 48 LESS TURNOVERS. Morris was not asked to score much as a freshman, but still had more rebounds & steals for an NCAA Sweet 16 team. Keep howling at the moon Herky as someone may join you one day.

Jordan is lethal from 3 and his ability to distribute has greatly surpassed most anyone's wildest dreams. If he continues shooting 3's like that with all the pieces this team has and what is coming in the next 3 years. This team will be frequent 2nd weekend visitors in the Big Dance.

41 more assists and 139 more points by Jordan despite playing in fewer games must be ignored because clown fans say so.

So last I checked basketball games are won and lost based on who scores more points. Jordan was responsible for 221 more points than god himself Monte Morris had his freshman year despite averaging only 1 minute more per game.

Are you really going to argue that Monte's additional steals and rebounds and fewer turnovers would wipe out 221 points?

Something only a delusional clown fan would argue.

You certainly hope so. I have heard it before so let's see how it plays out.

I agree completely. But the work ethic, confidence and the shooting ability these guys have hasn't been seen since the 80s as a collective group before. The MG lead class was hindered by the ability to actually make jumpers. Big difference now.

Jordan had more 3 point FG's than Naz Long had his sophomore year or Deandre Kane had his senior year. But of course that must be ignored as well.

Can't disturb a clown fan delusion.

You are just a bit dense, herky. Who spent more time on the court their freshman years? jbo did on an NIT team. MM was on a sweet 16 team. Who do you think was asked to do more? Follow the logical thought process, or howl at the moon. It is your choice.

For what it is worth, I believe your team is going to be pretty good, but it will be your coach that could be the problem.

I'm fine with Fran. 50/50 on how to handle end of game situations. On the team to learn how to make Free Throws and have better defensive intensity. That should and I believe will come with experience.

Monte had played more minutes his freshman year than Jordan did. Jordan just had significantly more production.

So did they tell Monte to just go out there and stand around or is this another clown fan delusion?

You are dense.

No Jordan played 34 games and average 29.6 per. Iowa math says that is less than god himself Monte's 1013.

But even with fewer minutes Jordan contributed 221 more points.

Keep up your delusion though.

Actually they probably told him to pass the ball to Niang, Ejim, Kane, or Hogue. When you are a freshman point guard on a team with 3 all conference players on a top 10 ranked team who can score you pass them the ball.

When you are a freshman dead eye three point shooter on an NIT team with a lot of young players you shoot and keep shooting.

Kudos to Jordan on an impressive freshman year. If he becomes an all conference and all American player then I look forward to comparing his career with Monte's.

Monte played 829 minutes his freshman year. Jbo played 889. It really is simple to look up. It is under minutes played.... Dunce

You would think that all of had awesome talent would have inflated god's stats not deflate them. My point all along has been that clown fans love to say how Jordan sucks but when you looks at his stats compared to god Monte in his freshman year Jordan's are better.

But since that doesn't fit clown fans' delusion they continue to say stats don't count.

Refresh or do you know how to that. Does your mom still cut your food?

Nope link still says No Stats Available.

Here is a real link. It says Jordan played 1005 mins. Now go get your calculator or ask your assistant manager to tell you which is bigger 1013 for god Monte or 1005 for Jordan? Yep Jordan played less than god Monte did his freshmen year and out produced him by 221 points. Quite the beat down.

Put that isu degree to great use for us won't you, they must be "So Proud".

Probably best to ignore my link txclown. It says Jordan had as many 3 pointers as mighty Matt Thomas did this year despite playing 78 fewer minutes.

I know we must ignore that as well. It simply isn't fair to compare Jordan's freshman year to mighty Matty Thomas' senior year.

Hey txclown does this link count? It comes from isu directly and says Mighty Matty Thomas played 1083 mins and had 89 3 pointers.

Jordan as a freshman had 89 3 pointers in 1005 mins so I guess according to your rock solid logic Jordan is better as a freshman than Matty Boy as a senior.

Or do as you usually do and say that doesn't matter but some other stat is what really counts.

Keep up the delusion though it is worth the laughs.

I went to the rivals site for both schools(hint: this one). I am not surprised that you can't get the stats up because it might take one short thought to switch years and go back to get it up. The link shows MM with 821 minutes in 2013 and this site shows jbo at 889. Rivals is the data base for both.

So rivals knows better than isu? Because I used links that came from isu.

Keep that laughs coming Einstein.

JBo had a great year, better than I would have thought possible, and he's set to have a wonderful career. Honestly he could do like Monte did, and set a lot of career stat milestones for the Iowa program. I'll be really curious to see where he ends up.

JBO doesn't have a mentor who is an upperclassmen, and his coach has not shown the ability to develope point guards. Folks that don't believe those factors have an impact, are missing the boat.
