Yes, 500 is perfect! No one gets hurt & it's a nice little cherry on top if your team wins. I'd be willing to come to IC game night, we can meet at Applebee's or some other well known public spot... we both put our $ in an envelope... hand it to waitress or bartender and enjoy a great game over a couple beers! I think it would be fun , meet a new friendly rival & create more wager opps down the road.

Immediate future for ISU looks great. 1 hour before WV game and there are no worries. #2 or #3 or #4 seed in Big 12 tourney really makes no difference. ISU is firmly entrenched in NCAA - tonights game makes little difference.
Not so distant future looks good as well. After 2 years, it is obvious Prohm is a solid coach, and incoming recruiting class will not create a significant dropoff as many Hawk fans predict.
Nice win for the Hawks last night. Wisky not playing well, but still a tough place to win. Good for Bohannon! Nice moment for him + his family. Even the most diehard ISU fan cant ignore that. My Linn Mar connections have nothing but great things to say about him, so kudos to Jordan.

No one who knows basketball thought ISU would NOT make the NCAA tourney this year. No one who knows basketball thought Iowa would even have a shot at the NCAA tourney this year unless it won the B1G tourney.
In other words, ISU is doing what it was supposed to do this year. Iowa is exceeding expectations.
Both teams are having good seasons.
