This wasn't the original story though. She shot him because he wasn't a good hunting dog. Plain and simple. This added elements to the dog have been added since she's been getting "killed" for this.
Eventually the dog will be a zombie. That only she could put down to prevent the apocalypse.
Because you claim the senate should be based on state populations, so the majority rules. Why don't we eliminate minority rights then? You leftists are so in favor of majority rules, let's make African Americans pay more taxes, just have the majority of whites vote that new law in to save themselves money.

I get what Kristi is saying a little bit, but don't quite get the explanation. Was it attacking cattle, or attacking chickens? A 14 month old dog can be trained, or even given away, or both. It doesn't need to be put down.
My best friend has a small herd, and the herd was attacked by 4 pitbulls a couple of months ago. They killed 2 calves, and severely injured a heifer. They needed to be put down.

There’s two reasons I don’t care what Noem did to her dog; One, she’s not my governor and two) it’s none of my business.
There’s two main reasons why I would never vote for her for national office: her financial investments in the carbon capture company that’s trying to use eminent domain against SD taxpayers and her undying loyalty to the foreign state of Israel.
I don't follow the things you mentioned too much, but her issues with The People are a problem for me, as well as her nepotism issues.

We’re not sure because the story keeps adding more details. Chickens was the first explanation of it being vicious.
It was a story from her book. Showing everyone how country she is. That’s bragging. No different than telling us how many studs she’s bedded.

It’s an asinine excuse. It’s predator instinct for a young dog to go after small game. We are still working with my 2-year-old dog to refrain from trying to chase, catch and kill squirrels. If the dog repeatedly ignored commands. Bitten people and had destroyed neighbor’s property. I’d have a difficult time re homing it. But all of that assumes she’s telling the truth. Noem has already shown the propensity to lie regularly to maintain an image.

So this may confuse some. My parents have always had house dogs and then outside dogs. The outside dogs lived in a dog house our ran free. The coon hounds always were on a chain with a doghouse.
There was an absolute distinction between the inside dogs and the outside dogs. The inside were pets. The outside dogs were tools used for hunting.
Easiest way to try to describe how some country folks view animals. If our neighbors dog or a wild dog was on the property and tried to kill an animal or fight our dogs, it was shot.
I just read this to myself in a Lawrence O’Donnell ‘I am outraged and trying to hold back tears’ voice and it really hits different.

I would also add that according to Noem, her pup was barely more than a year old. Chasing and killing chickens at that age and level of training should absolutely not result in the death penalty for a young pup.
