There we go, like the sports illustrated swimsuit issue thing!I think both are good ideas, co-eds decked out in body paint. Just brainstorming...

They could also have shirtless wrestlers walking around too.
Just saying...
Guessing Vallholl will be in IC. Would be happy to do PBP if we were't going to be in row 5.
I'm sure they will have the football game start simultaneously as the wrestling meet. It means less Okie state fans in Ames Cheering on the PokesI noticed ISU hasn't set a time for the Ok State football game. I assume if it is a night game the Poke fans coming to Iowa for the weekend will double dip.
yeah, like when optimism is at an all time high for the season?Actually, for those Poke fans hard core enough to travel to Ames for a football game, I bet it would be a huge kick to stop by Kinnick earlier in the day and see a historic wrestling meet. I think the novelty of the Grapple on the Gridiron would attract a good number of the Okie State football fans if the timing were right.
Yeah, Pollard won't do anything that might help Iowa in anyway.I'm sure they will have the football game start simultaneously as the wrestling meet. It means less Okie state fans in Ames Cheering on the Pokes
Now that is good stuff there, Our wrestling team out draws Their football team.I'd bet there are more fans in Kinnick to watch wrestling than there are in Jack Trice for the football game.
Getting within a couple of weeks of the event when will the tickets be mailed?
Waiting to see about things ... will tickets be available at the "door"?
When games are televised the AD has nothing to do with the start time.Yeah, Pollard won't do anything that might help Iowa in anyway.
I don't know if you mean "residual" fans that will just happen or want to be in the Iowa City area for the atmosphere, but the football game is now sold out, so that situation is a done deal. I would imagine there are plenty like myself that will attend both events, but I presume there are also plenty that will attend the wrestling meet and head home to watch the game that night. I believe it's at plus 30K right now, so 40K on a nice November day certainly isn't out of the question. So things are shaping up pretty well for a 40k crowd on 11/14/15. The football team continues to roll and the forecast is looking decent. If we win at Indiana and come into the Minnesota game at 9-0, interest in the football team will be at a high point, drawing in more fans. If that happens and the weather holds, I'll be surprised if we don't surpass 40k.

A little off topic but does anyone know when the Iowa vs MN meet is? Iowa site under schedules says its Fri 1/29 but under buy tix for the home meets which go on sale tmrw am it is listed as Sat 1/30.
I'm also confused about what GA is. Student tickets are GA, but I've heard nothing of the location other than a limited number of those seats will be on the field.I thought everything after 25K was GA. But when I go to hawkeye sports everything is a ticketed seat. Was I wrong on the GA thing? Meeting people and was going to have us just buy tix separately. May just buy seats myself and have them meet me outside of Kinnick.

It was moved and I remember that this happened. The meet was on Saturday (when I could attend) and got moved to a Friday (when I cannot attend).Pretty sure it was originally Saturday, but was changed to Friday.
There won't be that many people out tailgating 10 hours before the football game. With FB sold out, it should be nothing for 5k in walk ups. Easily.
If they are marketing outside the stadium and at as many tailgates lots as they can....who knows. Maybe 7-9k
Particularly with 50 degree weather.
