Can’t say I have a problem with Greg. Maybe it’s because he was coaching at uni when I was there.
Seems like a decent guy and not a sleezy coach like a lot of others in College basketball.

Creighton has transfers and international players. Maybe other coaches should take note.
I didn't give much a flip about him either way until he went at the refs a bit about why they stopped play when PS was in harms way as he lay on the floor after he hitting said floor really hard.
And Iowa was in possession, so it wasn't like the refs blowing play dead was preventing an easy scoring opportunity for his own team.

No problem with Greg. Was pulling for him to make Final four last year.
Too much winning, isu job and glib fk face look.
I think he was probably not happy that they blew the whistle when Bowen was mid air with no shot and nowhere to pass the ball.
I get stopping the play because you can’t have players landing on top of an already hurt player but I also get why the situation was frustrating for Creighton.
It would have been understandable if PS was kind of writhing around and seemed to be trying to drag himself OOB, but he was literally laying there almost motionless. I honestly thought he was unconscious for a little bit there, from hitting his head on the floor.
I would have had no problem if PS was ok enough to try and remove himself from the playing area & CU got mad if refs still blew it dead. But that's not what happened.
Yeah, no one wants too much winning.
I would have much rather he took the Iowa job rather than the ISU job.
Yeah, that’s not a good look…then their fans were booing, WTF? Overall, they got most all of the marginal calls…so they had really nothing to cry about…
He has had a couple of ‘situations’ at Creighton that put him in the playing on the edge line
I'm not sure I'll ever get over taking Doug away from UNI and what it could have meant for the Panthers, but Greg is a very good person and an outstanding coach. Any team would be lucky to have him, but he's got a really good thing going in Omaha.
Greg McDermott is a great coach and a great human being. Would be nice to get him as our next coach, but that will never happen.
I don't post a ton here, but I've known Greg for a long time, since his days at Wayne State College. Tremendous human being and fantastic coach.
