I very much doubt that. She didn't have the talent to get a lot of minutes and her moving on opened up another scholarship spot.

Oh the last part was more tounge in cheek. I'm not sure why she didn't play Ava.

Iowa needs to develop leaders who get angry from time to time. We know what Caitlin and Kate could do, but we underestimate the competitiveness Gabbie played with. We need players who will beat their chest after a big defensive play. I appreciate the joy the team shows, but I’d like to see a few more scowls on Hawkeye faces during a game.

Yeah, I don't see that kind of competitive fire coming from anyone. It doesn't seem to be in their personalities. They DO seem to keep level-headed, but maybe they all need some additional pressure from each other.
