This guy can be a be a bit of a troll, but this is probably the correct take about CU:

I don’t understand that. How exactly is he getting exposed? Did you guys expect him to go undefeated?I mean... sure.. but I wouldn't call it an "ABSOLUTE resounding success." He's getting exposed in the process.
If Deion can learn from it, it may be like, a step forward.
Well being ranked 127th (out of 131) in both Team Defense and Penalty yards per game is probably what he's talking about. And I'm one of the people hoping Prime does well.I don’t understand that. How exactly is he getting exposed? Did you guys expect him to go undefeated?
By that logic, I suppose Mike Norvell was “exposed” when FSU was 8-13 his first two years.
The penalties are inexcusable, I agree. But plenty of established coaches have imperfect teams or poor offenses or defenses. Yet people act like Deion hasn’t drastically improved the program. It’s just funny to me.Well being ranked 127th (out of 131) in both Team Defense and Penalty yards per game is probably what he's talking about. And I'm one of the people hoping Prime does well.
All may be true. And if you were an offensive recruit would you want to go to CU or Iowa? They have a lot of talent but they are a poorly coached team, especially on Defense. Extremely undisciplined on offense and defense, can't tackle for shit (Deion must be teaching them), yelling at each other on the field, etc.
Coaching was completely out to lunch last night. Stanford ran the same slant like 42 times.... maybe drop a linebacker and take it away? Decision making in the 2nd half was beyond head scratching. They just had to play field position/ball control and they win that game going away. They turned the ball over twice at midfield by going for it on 4th down, consistently snapped the ball with 10+ seconds on the game clock, and barely tried to establish a run game.
It drives me insane when ole Kirk kills the offense when they're up 10....but I would eviscerate him if he called a 2nd half like Deion did being up 29.
They are not a good football team and are winning on pure talent. Anyone who can't see how poorly coached they are is watching through their Deion Sanders shades.
All may be true. And if you were an offensive recruit would you want to go to CU or Iowa?
He's drastically improved it in talent, through 100% of his name recognition. He destroyed in the portal and has talent. And that's important and he deserves all the credit in the world for that. But when you lead the country in Unsportsmanlike penalties after scoring touchdowns in the first few weeks, and do nothing to correct it (had two more last night), you're not ready for Primetime, yet. Kicking off from your own 20 and having you're QB scrambling and playing streetball on 50% of passing plays will only get you so far.The penalties are inexcusable, I agree. Tight end, RB or O-lineman, I'd take Iowa all day. QB would be a toss up. WR - Colorado. All may be true. And if you were an offensive recruit would you want to go to CU or Iowa?
No argument. I’m just not ready to render judgment on the Deion era 7 games in after inheriting a 1-11 team in a previously-dying program. He's drastically improved it in talent, through 100% of his name recognition. If you watched any of the games last year when he was with Jackson State, they were very undisciplined too. He got away with it more at that level. He's drastically improved it in talent, through 100% of his name recognition. He destroyed in the portal and has talent. We also need to see how the offense works without his son at the helm. What we will be needing to see is how he does with developing talent vs. relying on readymade players from the portal. He's already proven that if you provide no immediate usefulness to him, you are banished to portal world. I can't see that being a sustainable thing. But I also don't see him being there after next year either.
IMO he’s going to succeed or fail on the field on the strength of his assistants. He will be the face of the program, for better or worse. Never will be the X’s and O’s guy. What we will be needing to see is how he does with developing talent vs. relying on readymade players from the portal. The thing he has going for him is that future opportunities come from whether you leave the place in better shape than when you got there. Well...it's impossible for him to leave it in worse shape. I'm guessing it was a big reason he chose CU.IMO he’s going to succeed or fail on the field on the strength of his assistants. He will be the face of the program, for better or worse. In the portal and recruiting I think he scares the crap out of a lot of programs.
We’ll see. CU is pretty happy.
All Iowa recruits are offensive, at this juncture. All may be true. And if you were an offensive recruit would you want to go to CU or Iowa?
Colorado Nole is HOMERIN' for Neon!IMO he’s going to succeed or fail on the field on the strength of his assistants. He will be the face of the program, for better or worse. Never will be the X’s and O’s guy.

Didn't expect him to set a record for blowing a lead to the worst P5 team.I don’t understand that. How exactly is he getting exposed? Did you guys expect him to go undefeated?

I don’t dislike Deion, but this is a solid point. He loved the hype and celebrities on the sidelines. Do some coaching. Too many penalties, too much sloppy defense. And, a whiff of blaming the players in the post game with his complacency comments. You’re the coach. Get them prepared for the second half instead of being an observer.Didn't expect him to set a record flor blowing a lead to the worst P5 team.
Once the hype train got rolling, expectations shot the roof, and he's not meeting them.
I’d say:
Noticed a lot of finger pointing and chippy talk amongst players, they’re a reflection of the coach, 11 individuals not a team
All Iowa recruits are offensive, at this juncture.
There's the issue in a nutshell.
Agreed. I want to actually hear him say that, not have someone post words over his picture. Is this for real?
Who knows, but I didn’t see any of them on TV Friday. Also, I’ve seen tons of commentators praising the seriousness of his post-game statements and this would seem inconsistent with that.Agreed. I want to actually hear him say that, not have someone post words over his picture.
Though, I wouldn't be surprised if he did. You never know with Prime.
He is like Trump in a way. You can attribute an outrageous false statement to him and you still think "Eh, I can see him saying this"Agreed. I want to actually hear him say that, not have someone post words over his picture.

That was actually pretty good
