Have we discussed Coach Prime going to Colorado?

Honestly, I think that even if it’s a close loss, Indiana deserves an at-large bid. If 11-1 with your only loss on the road against the #2 team isn’t enough to get into the playoff then what’s the point of having a playoff?

Indiana hasn’t just been winning, they’ve been crushing teams. They beat UCLA by 29, Nebraska by 49, and Michigan State by 37. Their 20-15 win over Michigan last weekend was the first time all season that Indiana didn’t win by at least 14.
Texas lost by 15 at home to a top 10 team.

Georgia lost by 18 at top 10 Ole Miss.

Ole Miss lost at home to a Kentucky team that is 1-6 in the SEC, and in OT to a now 4-loss LSU.

If Indians stays within 30 at OSU, they should be in without question.

Because if the committee is afraid of leaving out a 2-loss SEC team, then they should be as diligent about including Indiana.

FSU's team last year would like an answer about that.

The committee will find a way to make sure 4 SEC teams get in, you just watch.

Figured this was the right place for this...
“Let’s see if he wins the next four Big 12 titles and a national championship at CU and then we’ll talk.”

Very tricky game for CU this week. KU has been playing like a top 25 team for 6 weeks.
I will admit that I have watched very little of Colorado. I know Hunter is lockdown on one side, but has Colorado been causing many turnovers this season? If there’s one thing about KU that I think is gettable, it’s that Daniels just feels like a turnover waiting to happen. Immensely talented player, but he just doesn’t seem to see things well and as a result puts the ball in danger.

What a QB battle though!

Yeah turnovers and improved line play have been the biggest things driving CU's improvement on defense. If Hunter gets dinged, the secondary is pretty vulnerable though.

Good article but I got major beef with this:

Tell that to Charlie Offerdahl. A walk-on three years ago, he was there when this team won only one game that season. He’s from just up the road in Littleton, Colorado, and is 5-feet-11, 185 pounds.

With a big emphasis on Up. Come on man. Littleton is down the road bro.

Seems like the right place for this.
50/50 Deion is there next year, and the kid doesn't really care. He did say the right things about working with Pat Shurmur, however. Neither partner is going to be overly loyal in this marriage. It's the way things are these days.

Well, his team isn't being classy as the game winds down. PF to give KU a critical 1st down. CU is playing a little bit like Deion back in the day. Undisciplined.

I will keep saying this until ESPN gives him the trophy: Hunter would be second on his team as a player who deserves the Heisman. Giving it to him because he plays both ways is dumb.

And you’ll still be wrong.

Regarding classiness, that KU dude who tried to cheaply end his career on a few occasions is a POS.

Go Buffs.

The Big 12 potentially has a huge mess on its hands. Arizona State just knocked off BYU in a wild finish, which means there are now three teams tied for first place at 6-2. If Iowa State beats Utah tonight then it will be a four-way tie. And Arizona State and BYU are the only teams in that group that have played each other. How the hell do they decide who goes to the championship game if each of them wins next week?

I assume they have tiebreaker procedures but will be interesting!

The Big 12, which just began its first season as a 16-team conference, has grown with the additions of former Pac-12 teams Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah. The league will use the following steps to determine its top two teams if there is a tie:

  • A. The tied teams will be compared based on their head-to-head record during the season.
  • B. The tied teams will be compared based on win percentage against all common conference opponents.
  • C. The tied teams will be compared based on win percentage against the next highest-placed common opponent in the standings (based on the record in all games played within the conference) proceeding through the standings.
  • D. The tied teams will be compared based on combined win percentage in conference games of conference opponents.
  • E. The tied teams will be compared based on total number of wins in a 12-game season.
  • F. The representative will be chosen based on highest ranking by SportSource Analytics (team rating score metric) following the last weekend of regular-season games.
  • G. The representative will be chosen by a coin toss.
The Big 12 also reiterated that Saturday's game between Utah and Baylor won't count as a conference game because it was originally scheduled as a nonconference game before Utah joined the Big 12. The same status will apply to the Week 3 game between Arizona and K-State for the same reasons.

The 2024 Dr Pepper Big 12 Football Championship will be at noon ET on Dec. 7 on ABC at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Eh, they got beat today.

Your Deion obsession/hatred is a bit weird, I have to say.
I think you should go back and read this thread over, and others on Deion at CU. I think he's good for college football. They played poorly, and were undisciplined today. Is that factually wrong? Find an obsessed / hatred post from me about Deion.
TIA

Thought if it’s a 4 way tie. It would be ASU vs ISU.

I’m not sure if that’s correct. I saw one Twitter post that said ASU will only get in if they beat Arizona next week and ISU wins one of their last two games and loses the other. In that scenario ASU wouldn’t be playing ISU, they would be playing either Colorado or a rematch with BYU.

Why?
Sheduer is a better player in his position and is much more valuable to the team.
Disagree, and the majority of voters will disagree as well. Hunter is All-American quality on both sides of the ball. Shedeur has been a fantastic QB for the Buffs though, it’s just Hunter is that special (and important to the team).
