Glad you brought it up. For instance, on tariffs…Trump administration will use them as bargaining chips (as already seen with Canada and Mexico). Trump is certainly vain enough where he doesn’t want the stock market to tank too much during his term, so he’ll adjust/reduce tariffs as needed. 😉
That’s one thing that I did appreciate about the Clinton administration too…he adjusted in the latter part of his term when initial policies didn’t work. Unlike the Biden/Harris administration that just stuck with the tired old policies.
Regarding NATO - if you think the U.S. is leaving that organization, you’re dumber than I thought. Again Trump’s transactional nature (which I don’t always agree with) at least is getting other NATO countries to step-up, both financially and with more manpower.

That's typically how things work. We have a stalemate in congress, nothing of substance rarely gets done, and the American people are almost never happy with the economy and the current administration takes the blame, and always blames the previous administration, and the cycle goes round and round.
