They're FOR one thing: taking the easiest path to re-election and whatever stances come with it, that week. That's what they all learned from Trump. Your principles do not matter. Just say what the people who elect you want you to say and get elected. Then rob the country blind and hope you build up enough capital until you get caught (like Menendez).

And it turns out, the details of conservative policies are sort of boring, fantastic conspiracies with blood sucking Democrats are far more engaging.

What’s bizarre is that it doesn’t seem all that long ago that Democrats were considered the more undisciplined party, more likely to break ranks.

It’s the same with Mitch. Love or dislike them personally, but they had a very firm control over their party in House/Senate.

jury is still out on Jeffries (job gets a lot harder when you’re in the majority), but it’s abundantly clear at this point that there’s no one in the House GOP that is capable of that type of control.

schumer is good in the senate but hes not in Mitchs league, idk who the heir apparent for either party would be in the senate.
