1- Start a thread called How to piss off a PSU fan big time. (started by non Iowa Fan)
2- Debate the validity of starting such a thread and if the title of the thread is as stupid as we think it is
3- Capture the attention of some good contributing PSU posters and mix in a few PSU trolls
4- Ensure that the PSU trolls total post (message) count is 95% credited to this one stupid thread (good sign of a troll)
5- Someone challenge Karl's character
6- Throw in a few Andrew Longs and a dash of Sandusky
BAM! Done.

This is the type of thread that has plagued this board and makes the mat unbearable at times. if the goal of the mods are to turn this board into the mat they are on their way to success.

By the way, there are only two reasons why I would be interested in pissing of a PSU fan. 1.) they are a troll on our board acting like a douche. 2.) They go by the name Franklin Restores the Tradition or James WithertonIII - both of which can be assumed to arrive pre-douched right out of the box.

We have some good PSU posters that come to this board, you know who you are, and I like having their input whether I agree with them or not, they are true wrestling fans. We also have MSU (and a few other neutral posters), who is kind of a fan I guess, who I often disagree with, but is generally a good poster.

A thread like this brings out the worst in everyone it seems, MSU looks like a tool for starting this tread (sorry MSU, it was a bad idea) and the good guy PSU posters are forced to take a stand against a lot of silly remarks, and this makes them look like trolls, which they are not.

Bottom line, IMO, this is a bad thread that poorly reflects on the HR board, which is by far the most active and well represented anywhere on the internet.

I am sorry if some of you find this inappropriate. It's the offseason and a topic that would inevitably drum up a considerable amount of conversation.

For those of you(Iowa fans only and the few PSU fans that have actually been cordial to me) that are offended by this, I apologize. But, I am human and do lash out when thoroughly provoked. Some people are good at ignoring and avoiding confrontations. I, unfortunately, am NOT one of those!

9xs: there are 2 maybe 3 things on BWI that will draw out the hammer. TM is very-very in the know about the sandusky scandal (so much so on most things he cant comment publicly on) and with that being one of the few things he doesnt tolerate on the wrestling board you felt his wrath. I wouldnt take it personal, your not alone just the most vocal about it.

You could probably take the identical convo that got you banned to the BWI free board and he would let it go. The posters might not, but TM probably would. He just doesnt want it on the wrestling board because the scandal has nothing to do with the wrestling team, the coaches that are there and certainly the wrestlers.

Sensitive? Lol. Defensive is more accurate. If I truly loved attention I wouldn't spend time on wrestling message boards. I simply like to talk about wrestling and this is one of the limited avenues to do so with a decent amount of wrestling enthusiasts.

No one likes to be wrong. But, I will and do point out when I am and apologize as well. That is more than nearly all that post will do.

Finally, going to a PSU board to pick a fight would be the equivalent of what someone in the movie "Alpha Dog" did in the drug dealer's living room. That would make me a troll, and regardless of what some think, that has never, nor will ever be, my intention. There is no way on God's green earth that somebody who "can't stand to be wrong" would have predicted Zain Retherford to finish 4th.

I also cannot stand to be wrong, and I am calling for both Thomas Gilman and Cory Clark to not only be in the finals, but win national championships.

Mainly because I cannot stand to be wrong, and there IS no other reason because I am a PSU man.

Yeah, It's so hard to believe that someone would pick a guy(BEFORE THE SEASON STARTED)to take 4th, that took 5th as a freshman, didn't wrestle a folkstyle match during his redshirt season, bumped up a weight class that returned a national champ in Tsirtsis, the 4th and 5th place finishers in Sorenson and Clagon and Henderson(placed 4th over Retherford in 2014) bumping up.

It's not like I picked Retherford to finish there after he had wrestled for half the season. I obviously picked him to win it all. But, of course, you cherry pick just like the others.

Finally, I was a very neutral poster for some time. I have picked PSU, Iowa, tOSU, Minnesota and OkState to win. Posters like you, made me grow a genuine dislike for many of you and tainted my PSU outlook on message boards. I have been around themat since the Iowa run BEFORE PSU. I didn't start out saying ANYTHING negative about PSU. I just got sick of the likes of tbar and flyingtiger and voiced that opinion.

I don't mind you guys disliking me. I find it quite amusing. However, many of the things you are on me for have never, nor will ever, exist......
