How will Haley "Restore" the Economy?

This should be good. Considering we have not had a recession.

Yes, the losers with credit card bills had it worse. Boo Hoo. Be better with money.
By getting us in more endless wars. Her largest donations are coming from the same people that supported Biden. She's a sell out and will do whatever the establishment needs.

People invested in the market are doing Okay, but those living from paycheck to paycheck are not,... "Restoring" the economy will require getting inflation under control combined with increased wages for the working class...

So inflation is now under control.

Haley is going to push increases for workers? Uh-Huh....

My guess is it would be through the magic formula of deregulation and lowering taxes. Trickle down. #$## the poor, help large corporations and the super wealthy while convincing the rural white poor people that you are helping them.

Do you realize that inflation is below wage growth now?

The biggest gains in wage growth have been at the lower income levels. It's one of the reasons we see so many aggrieved white male victims whining about the economy.

Wage growth that occurred during and immediately post pandemic was mostly offset by inflation when it peaked at around 9% a year ago,.. People who are living paycheck to paycheck are currently in the hole or at best breaking even over the past few years...

How will Haley contain inflation since she does not control monetary policy?

There is no more stimulus to cause inflation.

Wage growth was over 4% last month outpacing inflation.

You're a rube.

No idea what her plan might be, but the best option for any president would be to control spending...

What bills have the Republicans in the House put forth to alleviate this pressure on everyday Americans? I'll wait.

Who controlled the House?
Here's another thing...let's say some Democrats did, in 1982 think Reagan's economic plan was a good idea. How many since then have agreed with trickle down? What presidents have? Both Bush's and Trump. Democrats don't. They learned that it was a trick. BS. Republicans KNOW what it is and keep selling it. Republican voters, like Rifler, buy into their crap. He is exactly right in his post...but he votes for the bad guys who perpetuate the paycheck to paycheck living that is common for most of American society.

Again, voting against our own interests.

Remember the first time you heard the term "global economy"?,... Mid 70's, that's when the slow demise of the American middle class began..
The demise hit full stride after Reagan “busted” the air traffic controllers...that was a dog whistle for all out Union busing in the trades and the Reagan tax law of the 80’s failed to consequence American manufacturers for moving their production from the US to Mexico and Asia.
The one thing the Covid Crisis taught America is that is cannot count on foreign governments and foreign manufacturing to supply America’s wants and needs for product. American has paid a HUGE price for allowing us to rely on others and we will have to pay for our nearsightedness to rectify this matter. Short term profits created long term pain for America.

This is the opposite of what’s happening. Those at the lowest income range have seen their real wages rise. L

Anyone who wants to keep pace in the current economy has to be an investor at some level,.. Over the long haul a paycheck by itself won't cut it for the average American, like it once did generations ago...

My parents bought a new Chevelle in 1974 for $3500. A Big Mac was .55 cents. Gallon of milk was .70 cents. Stamps were .10 cents. Those in 1974 were paid less and things cost less. People are paid more now and things cost more now. To me the far biggest difference is Those at the top of the ladder are making far more than everyone else all the way to those at entry level. Change that dynamic and everyone has more breathing room.

I’d be curious how much some of the people that make the “be better with money” comment make and also would love to see them live on the limited income of the people they make fun of.
