What are the PDX fans saying about Kris?
From what I see they like his defense, high BB IQ with his help defense rotation. Good at doing the little things for a rookie. Think he's a terrible shooter. Think if he can improve his shot could become a good rotational/bench player.

I personally hope their players continue to be hurt so Kris can keep starting

I agree with all points, but never wish injury on a player.

Well luckily you don't have to wish for them to get hurt since they're already hurt, you just can wish for them to take their time rehabbing ;)

Since it's a rebuilding year I definitely think they should just rest those players the remainder of the season. LOL

I wish he were hitting the 3 ball more consistently.

In his last 10 games, he's averaging 26.8 minutes and is shooting 17.6% from 3, 40.3% overall and 57.9% from the free throw line.

In the 42 overall games played, he's shooting 26.7% from 3, 40.5% overall and 61.3% from the free throw line.

Actually saw him play in the Celtics game. If he can't start hitting the 3 he's going to be in real trouble. The entire NBA game is built around spreading the floor and screen and roll and drive and kick. Until you see a live NBA game you do not realize how skilled all these guys are, especially the Celtics. You absolutely cannot go under a screen, because they can all drill the 3, especially guys like Tatum, but I was surprised at how good even Payton Pritchard was. But if you over over, then they just take you to the hole and put the big man in an unguardable position. Which is why the days of a big plodder are absolutely gone. Kris was matched up w/Jaylen Brown a lot and actually played really tough defense but Brown was in a zone and made tough shot after tough shot. His biggest problem is he doesn't really handle the ball very well so currently his only role is to stand and be able to hit a 3. Never really drove the ball. He looks to have gotten much stronger in person. I hope he keeps developing and getting a chance. Definitely has some work to do, and of course Portland stinks.

Good report.
Brown and Tatum are so talented guarding them is a nightmare.
But then, everybody can play in this league.
Glad the blazers took down the Hawks who are chasing Bulls.

Kris has struggled from 3. Last night, in a 3 point loss to the Bulls, he was 0-2 from three. In his last 10 games he is shooting 21.2%. For the season he is shooting just 25.9%.
He's also struggling from the FT line. He missed both attempts last night. For the season he is hitting just 60.5% of his free throws.
