With March Madness going on, it's good to see our NBA Hawks doing well.
Kris had 21 pts, 7 rebs, 2 ast, and 3 stls in a Portland loss to the Clippers. 125-117 the final score.

If they had stayed in school, Keegan and Kris would have been seniors this year and without a doubt would have led Iowa to a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

No way Patrick isn't playing 20 minutes minimum.Interesting to think about what our rotation might have been:
Perkins/Harding/Dix
Dix/Payton/Perkins
Keegan/Payton/Kris
Kris/Keegan/Krikke
Freeman/Kris/Dembele
A fun puzzle, unlike now without the Murray’s

Knowing Fran he would probably still have Kris backing up Keegan.
Underrated post. If Weiskamp and Garza had each stayed another year we'd have won 4 in a row.If they had stayed in school, Keegan and Kris would have been seniors this year and without a doubt would have led Iowa to a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

45 minutes is impressive..and zero turnovers is not easy.Portland (21-59) lost at home to Golden State (45-35), 100-92.
Portland played 8 players 14 or more minutes.
Kris, once again, got the start.
His stats:
45 minutes (of 48 possible)
1-7 (14%) from 3
3-5 (60%) from 2
.................................
4-12 (33%) Overall Shooting
5-6 (83%) FTs
14 Points
4 Rebounds (2 Offensive)
2 Assists
1 Block
1 Steal
0 Turnovers
5 Fouls
Kris has now appeared in 60 of Portland's 80 games and has played a total of 1,260 minutes (average of 21.0 minutes/game in those 60 games).
Yeah, that is a problem when the ability to shoot the 3 was the main reason he was a first round pick. I hope Kris can get that up to 35% + next season.For the season Murray is 27.3% (48-176) on 3Pt FGAs. That sucks.
There are probably more than 100 NBA players shooting over 35%+ 3PT FGAs. Last time I looked (it’s been awhile) you start to see separation around 38%-39%+. IIRC Kris is also substandard low 60s FT%.Yeah, that is a problem when the ability to shoot the 3 was the main reason he was a first round pick. I hope Kris can get that up to 35% + next season.

Getting valuable playing time. First year guy getting his feet wet. Developing skills at the highest level. I like it.And the last 10 games are pretty much the same.
Those stats:
* 33.5 minutes; 8.9 points; 26.0% from 3
* Overall, he's shooting just 36.7%
* he's shooting 76.9% from the FT line
