No. He was sitting courtside with no one in front of him according to others.
Dave was sitting down?

I love that Joe W is in character.Hawkgasser sighting.
Not sure why people complain about him. Passionate fan, donor to the program, not sure what the fuss is all about?

He is a member of this site. I really appreciate his passion and support for the Hawks. I don't know him, but I don't think he cheers for attention. He just seems like a guy who wears his emotions on his sleeve. If more fans showed that passion Iowa may actually have a home-court advantage. Oh yeah, and sell beer. Go Hawks.
I believe you are correct...makes me like him even more. I actually think he influenced the referees that night. Loved it!Is he the guy Dan Dakich (an Espn commentator I really dislike) calls, Gucci? I guess when he stands up he blocks the view of the TV announcers to the right of the screen?
What others said, plus one of the two club rooms in CHA are named after him. Like most of us he doesn't hide behind an alias!Who is the guy at every home game that sits court side across from the team bench that stands 80% of the game and thinks he is one of Fran's assistants? I was at the UC yesterday and noticed that he and his wife were right there......across from the Iowa bench like always. Does the guy own like half of the university or something? Is he a billionaire? Who knows his story because the attention he seeks during a game is amazing. And if he is on this forum, I mean no harm to you.
