I don't get how many Iowa fans are underestimating the Illini

I guess I don't understand exactly what Illinois has done to make Iowa run in fear. Even their own fan base doesn't really think this game will be terribly close. For the most part, they think it can be a close game, but a lot has to go their way to make that so.

I still think (unoriginally) that 30-14 sounds about right.

After UNC and Middle Tennessee State I would say they are horrible. Then they have the close game against Nebraska last week...does that mean the new coach is turning the corner, or is Nebraska just not that good, either?

It is not luck if you caused it to happen. Luck would be Stave just fumbling the handoff without any reason. Was it lucky that Wisconsin recovered Beathard's fumble because they were in the right place at the right time?

IMO it was luck that Stave's foot was stepped on.

If you don't agree... cool. opinions vary.

The thing about Illinois is that they are not full of a ton of talented players but they have a lot of seniors and juniors playing so I think they look better this year because of that experience. However, if Iowa plays well they should win by two scores. The running game is what will wear down Illinois I think. If Iowa was blowing the Wisconsin guys off the ball they can surely do it to Illinois.
