Ames is pretty good about prepping roads. But at least I have my legal liability expunged with my salt treatment on sidewalks and driveway
Same same. We had to park about 5 blocks from the venue, and the people that did not put salt out made the walk pretty rough. Especially down the steep ass hill.
Only assholes don't make it safe for people to walk around their homes / businesses. So cheap to do.
I love this venue bc it's big and there are no bad spots. Even if you're in the back, you're still pretty close.
The only drawback is there is no parking. They have 1 parking lot for like 15 cars. No other businesses in the area want their overflow, so they'll tow. So basically you have to find street parking in the neighborhoods surrounding it. It's close to the river so it's hilly as f*ck.
Untreated driveways are probably bad. I had a lot of fun getting to work...treated streets were still slick but I made it in.
Anything untreated though, until we get above freezing....
