Yes.Am I wrong?
Smart decision to go for it, dumb play call.
Yes. A totally different offense playing garbage Big 12 defenses. You can't just pluck that and out it in Iowa and see it translate.Am I wrong?
Mobile as crap, not afraid to run the ball, good arm. Explain how?Yes.
He put the ball right in the midsection of his Receiver. Could have been caught, maybe should have been, and there was definite contact before the ball got there.Unranked on the road against top 10 team, I like the call. Purdy made a bad read

The guy can scramble and pass. Major upgrade.Yes. A totally different offense playing garbage Big 12 defenses. You can't just pluck that and out it in Iowa and see it translate.
Except his huge tight end that had nobody within 4 yards. He put the ball right in the midsection of his Receiver. Could have been caught, maybe should have been, and there was definite contact before the ball got there.
There is no such thing as a bad read in the Big 12. Everyone is open, on every play.
The guy can scramble and pass. Major upgrade.
How many points do you think we would score on Oklahoma in Norman?
How many would OK lay on us in Norman?Maybe 17 -- If we could keep Stanley upright.
Agreed.I don't like the 2pt conv. attempt to win. Kick it and win in OT
My comment was WE would be unbeaten with Purdy. We have a much better D than ISU.ISU is 5-4

Did you miss his 3 interceptions 2 weeks ago? How’s he do against tough defenses? My comment was WE would be unbeaten with Purdy. We have a much better D than ISU.
D is not our problem. If you can't see that you're blind.Good play call. TE was wide open, Purdy made a bad read.
We would not be unbeaten b/c the strength & conditioning coaches kid is starting at MLB.
That Oklahoma defense is terrible. Also, aren’t you from the same idiot fan base that claims a ‘phantom’ holding call prevented the clones from beating Iowa earlier this year? LOL!threw 5 TDs no picks on the road against #9 team in the country. Stanley would never do that.
Iowa fans by and large are heavily biased morons. I hate our fanbase sometimes.
i disagree... Purdy had all day to throw. There is no such luxury at IOWA.Am I wrong?
If you're talking to me, I'm a life long Hawk fan and not even close to being an idiot. That Oklahoma defense is terrible. Also, aren’t you from the same idiot fan base that claims a ‘phantom’ holding call prevented the clones from beating Iowa earlier this year? LOL!
He's very mobile though, much of his time to throw was created by that. That's my point.i disagree... Purdy had all day to throw. There is no such luxury at IOWA.
You do realize there was a defender breathing down his neck that blocked his vision?Except his huge tight end that had nobody within 4 yards.
I don’t think I was responding to you, was I?If you're talking to me, I'm a life long Hawk fan and not even close to being an idiot. That Oklahoma defense is terrible. TE was wiiiiide open.Smart decision to go for it, dumb play call.
Lol bad read? He read the play as best he could with a guy barrelling down on him and he made a perfect freaking throw between 2 defenders that should've been caught. Throwing back into the defender in the backfield with him would've been impossible.Good play call. TE was wide open, Purdy made a bad read.
We would not be unbeaten b/c the strength & conditioning coaches kid is starting at MLB.
Not really. He was coming open just as Brock was winding up to throw it. And he was in the blind spot where the defensive lineman was in the backfield with him, so let's stop this nonsense about how the TE was wide open and should've been the read. So many freakin armchair QBs thinking this is MaddenTE was wiiiiide open.
Who the F is brock Hurd?Lol bad read? He read the play as best he could with a guy barrelling down on him and he made a perfect freaking throw between 2 defenders that should've been caught. Throwing back into the defender in the backfield with him would've been impossible.
Just because Brock Huard said "so and so" was open does not mean he made a "bad read." It means a guy was open and it was too bad the pressure was there because he would've had it.
