Makes me sick how a single player can turn around everything in a program. One of the many reasons why I'm starting to drift away from football as a whole. There is no position that's more important in any sport around the world than a QB for a football team. If you have a good QB, you can do anything.
Nebby was starting to play dirty by face masking and was caught.

Parker doesn’t blitz much and Nebraska’s O-line is experienced, and good. Nebraska has talent throughout the offense. For the 1st time in years Nebraska may have a QB that won’t lose games with dumb decisions.

I think the big miss this entire offseason was Ohio St not getting that QB transfer from Washington St. I think his name is Cam Ward, he is playing for Miami now and he looks terrific.
Had the Buckeyes landed him, I think they sleep walk through their entire schedule and go toe to toe with basically anyone this year.

They schedule alot of home night games on purpose. About the only advantage they have.

How do you know he is a lazy recruiter? I’m guessing the greater issue is trying to overcome the geographical limitations + the garbage offense + starting marginally talented receivers who can block over actual playmakers.
You don’t recruit anymore anyway. It’s pay to play. Nebraska citizens donate their whole paychecks to buy players.

I almost forgot that quarterbacks are actually allowed to throw downfield. Amazingly, some can even do it with accuracy.
It appears Big Ten schools between the Missouri and Mississippi rivers are still not allowed to do that. Maybe someday.
