I'm concerned for the 2028 election

The compromised and illegitimate Scotus? Yes a law passed by Congress circumvents even that.
A Roe-type law would have to survive judicial challenge. But if they write it correctly, it might do that.

Because there was no law, the Court could pretend to find the original Roe decision flawed. Once there is a law, they'll have to come up with a different excuse. They'll try, but it's remotely possible not all the con Justices will go along.

The Legislative Branch passing a law and signed by the Executive Branch is what it is.

Right. And it will be challenged and end up before the Supreme Court. Guaranteed.

Two of the con Justices (assuming no changes on the Court before then) will have to show more integrity than they've shown so far for the new law to be upheld.

Who knows, they may surprise us. Not holding my breath, but maybe. Roberts might be one. Anyone else with the courage to cross the Religious Right?

"Heart disease" is a lot harder of an undertaking than just allowing women to have full medical care.

How many fetuses were killed through abortion?

I bet it's millions more than women dying because they can't kill the fetuses.

Harris will destroy the domestic terrorist and rapist in 2024. The concern I have for 2028 is the promise to pass Roe V Wade as law as even if the Dems somehow keep the Senate the stupid joke filibuster is in play. I see no path to passing Roe V Wade as law without ending the Filibuster rules.
I’m more worried about the 25,000 Chinese nationals Biden/ Harris allowed to come into the country through the southern border last year.

I also swallowed a lot of watermelon seeds this past summer. I wonder when that’s gonna come into play.

Correct. It needs to go.

The usual Dem argument against ditching the filibuster is that when Rs get Congress back, they'll use that change to ram through horrible laws. But they'll do that anyway if they want to, because if they want to they, too, can cancel the filibuster when it suits them.

If Dems win Congress this time, they should immediately kill the filibuster and pass a bunch of needed legislation. Act fast, get things moving and paying off, and hope that good policies do enough good to earn reelection.

You know, like how democracy is supposed to work.

The Filibuster bullshit and the electoral college must end.

I could smear my taint across the keyboard and provide more to this forum than you have in your combined existence.

Imagine being such an insane cuck that you whinepost about your ability to cheerlead baby murder 4 years from now. Such rich material you’re providing us with there, Richard.

Do you want to end the Electoral college?

That will basically make Democrats win every national election.

A fetus isn't a human.

Doc, atheism is poop. It won't do you any good. You'll never even know if you're right.

I like this quote:

"Why should we spend time working for treasures on Earth, which will not do us any good 100 years from now, when we could be building up treasures in Heaven, which will benefit us 100 million years from now?"

- Catholic convert and former Harvard marketing professor Roy Schoeman
