Temple...led by a PSU alum that did a pretty good job in his short tenure there...Imagine if he wins 2 in a row against his alma mater....Think Franklin's seat would be a little warm? Think Ruhle would have a shot to replace him?
That Pitt game will also be a big early game for Franklin. Drop that one earlier make an anxious fan base littler more riled up with loss to a rival they've ducked for last decade plus.
Never liked Franklin. He will be a coordinator somewhere in a couple yrs when he gets ran out of PSU
P St almost always a guaranteed win. When predicting preseason record I never ever even consider the P St game a toss- up, let alone a possible loss. Brush right over that game with an easy W everytime.

I've never posted that I wanted KF fired even after 14'. Ferentz will last longer at Iowa than Franklin will at PSU. Here's to another 7-6 for the Nittany Lions, if you guys are lucky. Hopefully you guys can beat mighty Temple this year.
Not that much of a surprise to anyone who follows the game. PSU only had 5 scholarship OL when JF took over and 4 of them were not ready to play. PSU had two DTs on the OL in that game and the LT was a juco transfer who was not ready. Could not bench 225 when he got to campus.
Does Iowa start all their freshman OL? How many OL do you have in camp?
You will start seeing improvements this year when the post sanction OL start getting on the field.

I heard a rumor that Ferentz was abusing kids. ARe you going to go to the police today or are you going to make the same decision as Paterno? Tough to know what to do when dealing with a rumor. We never had to deal with that situation before. Iowa probably has that problem all the time so they know what to do.

You were all crying about Lemelle when you lost him. Half your fans wanted Ferentz fired last year. You had many thread about firing him. You are the same.
As I stated there was good portion of fan base not happy with him last year and yes there were threads about it a lot last year. What's your point? All that matters now is people are happy and coming off a good year with high expectations (unlike Penn St). Honestly I'm on this board fair share and really haven't heard of Lemelle but oh well win some you lose some how recruiting goes. With our class right now folks around here are pretty happy with way things are going on that front.
