They have to fix officiating. It's just crazy at this point to allow this amateur sh*t.
You have to give credit to IA for battling back after what looked like a complete blow out.
More Brauns, Kingsbury. Brock & Dembele playing okay - a few miscues but is giving us some offense anyway.
Less Payton but I'm sure Fran will ride him for most of the second half on the chance he heats up. Need to get Dix going...

Illinois with a NBA #5-7 pick in Kasparas Jakucionis a freshmen. Probably paid under the table.
I think the most depressing part about McCaffery coached teams is that no matter who the players are he will not change his approach to games. Because of that Iowa is never going to by truly competitive over a season with McCaffery. It has to be about his ego, at least only thing I can figure out. Hard to get excited about IMBB when there is no hope for change. JMO
If Illinois keeps missing a fair few shots, the game could be there for the taking.

Just got home from the kids basketball game, we won case you’re interested, looks Illinois shooting cold.
Hawk ball already said it and I have said it for the last few games but I just dont understand why you continue to give Dembele the most post minutes. Braun and Mulvey are clearly better in every way except three point shooting. When illinois started out super hot at the beginning they were targeting Dembele on almost every play either in pick and role or isolation. His foot speed and decision making is just too slow. I just dont get it. Maybe I'm wrong but it just seems obvious at this point. I will be curious if Fran gives Braun a majority of the minutes the second half. If we are serious about winning this game it has to happen.
Probably not, starting Dembele will allow Illinois to run out to an insurmountable lead Iowa won't be able to overcome in the second half.
I don't think foreign born players are eligible for NIL? Therefore, ILLINI doing what they do best, under the table.
I like me some Robbie Hummel, but he can say some of the stupidest stuff sometimes.

Traore seems like he's auditioning for his next team. Or absolutely has no idea you can pass the ball.
